Good Morning All!

I am pleased to report that it is raining cats and dogs in the desert this morning. And the thunder is so loud that I doubt if anyone will sleep through their alarm today!
The forecasters say this is our part of Dean.

I hope you all had a nice week-end. It went too fast, as usual, but mine was nice.

Have a great diet day; may your calories/carbs etc. be few and your blessings, many.

good morning nancy.

off to an early start from now on for me. school for the monkeys. grandmoneky's first day of kindergarden. lil'monkey is in 8th grade. 2 different towns. oy. not fun. i don;t enjoy the driving, but it will help me get into a schedule.

this is my one...ahhhhhhh...hopefully relax day. first day in over 3 years that i have all to myself!!!!

tomorrow...i will go straight to the fitness center here after dropping off kiddos. get my workout, then have clients. i am determined to do this daily. evne if my back is horrible..i will do an upper body workout. no matter what!

how is everyone else? any tips for the day? special motivation?

Nancy, am glad you are getting some rain have to water those cactus in the desert so you can have pretty flowers next spring.
I just pulled out some water color paintings that I did many years ago when we were living in tempe AZ...seems like another life time....
Maybe I should frame one of them as a reminder of the west.....

lol bizi i keep turning around thinking i'm going to bump into him. he is usually glued to my hip.

i have been very productive. zipping around and getting the whole place clean in no time. no stopping to answer questions. get a snack...get a drink yadda yadda.

i would love to see one of your water colors. hmmm...you are giving me inspiration. i have really missed having my easel up. it just has been too hard with a little one. just get going and all creative and end up having to stop. good weight loss project too. keeping my hands busy, i can't snack!

must a busy monday. group hug

Afternoon all!
Sorry I have been MIA the last few days. Been very busy at work.
I was very bad last week and ate at fast food places like 3 times. Unfortunately it showed up in my face and I was all swollen. Of course, my rosacea didn't help. It was hot and humid all weekend and I got all bloated because of that too.
I feel better today because I drank a butt load of water. Hopefully it will flush out my system.
Well back to work for me....have a great day everyone.

Nancy, I'm glad to hear you got rain.

Bizi and Curious, I admire those who are artistic.

Wendy, how's work today?

Doug's time is very limited now. You can see his bones sticking through his skin and he keeps losing more and more. I am sad at times about it but on the other hand will be relieved when his time comes so he won't have to suffer any longer. I will miss him.

Hello all,

Curious pointed me in this direction, I just happened to mention something about my weight... So far, so good.

I have been what my mother always called, pleasingly plump, but then again she loved me unconditionally. I had a back injury June of last year and had a 3 level fusion 4/30/07 with some continueing pain & neurologic problems. I have been taken off work for minimum of 1 year. Exercise consists of PT and limited of that. I have gained 30 lbs since March. Dr. just put me on Topomax for nerve pain and of course I have to be the ONLY person who doesn't get any side effects including loss of appitite. LOL

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Good guesses but oh so far away. I work in a male dominated field, men's prison. I am a first line supervisor. A male member of a brother agency (whom I had gotten into a little trouble for overstepping his authority and being wrong at what he was trying to do) asked another superviser who I was. I was just walking out of the office at the time and the supervisor sputtered and spit and pointed me out. After words he told me what popped into his head was to say the "b-word" with "large bazzongas" standing behind you. I do resemble that comment. That nickname has stuck and I wear it with pride. I even want bwitht for vanity lic. plates. Not very lady like, I know!

By the way, I am a professional dieter. The best I can figure, I have lost over 1000 lbs. Too bad it is the same 50 lbs over and over and over again. You guys can help me break that cycle instead of breaking my back. Thanks for the warm welcome.
