I have been busy so I've missed yesterday's posts. How is everyone doing? I am drinking water but ashamed to say I am also eating chocolate kisses. Maybe if I exercise enough the kisses won't be such a problem?

My dear friend Doug's brother moved in to Doug's old apartment today. Doug was the sweetie pie I took care of this past summer who passed in September. It is freaking me out that his brother moved in there. At the same time I want to gravatate to him.

I think it's understandable that you feel a tug in his direction....if I were you dear Barbara, I would resist that temptation.

Glad that it did not snow alffe!
Figured out my new cell phone and had to have them adjust the contrast...I could not see it in my car.
Which made it hard to use.
So hopefully that will help.

getting a late start today, the time change and the bathroom repair job wore me out a bit I think.

Lots of brothers are totally different than each other, my brothers are and so are my uncles - boy as I think about it- every brother {uncles, friends, family} I think of is different. Some might have similar basic values, but that differs too sometimes.

Very tired and sore today. Don't feel quite right. Its a mental thing....or an FM thing....anyway don't feel good.
But I am here at work making the best of it.

Good morning all. It is a beautiful day here in Vegas. The temp is in the 70's and the sky is clear. I wish I wasn't hurting so bad because I would love to be out there cleaning up my rose garden.

I am scheduled for nerve root injections in the morning. I sure hope these help because I am reluctant to go on any stronger medicine. Although if that is what it takes that is what I will do. Ice cream sandwiches just are not taking this pain away. I am kidding I am not self medicating with ice cream sandwiches...or am I?????

Barbara, I think it is OK for you to talk to Dougs brother. He probably would like to talk about him also. Just be careful and don't get hurt. You were such a great friend and caregiver for Doug I know if it was my brother I would want to hear about it.
