If nobodies going to start the thread this morning, I will. I'm not feeling to hot today. Here I was going to get up early and clean the house. I've dressed and thats it.
 Sue, we haven't heard from you in awhile! Hope you are ok. Who else hasn't checked in lately? My brain isn't working yet. Help me out if you been wondering about someone else. Glad Gaye is back with us. Nancy, are you ok? I don't remember you coming in for a few days. Curoius, is your back still bothering you? Mine just won't stop hurting. Well I got to try to get something done before noon.  Hugs, Billie

Oh I just slid in from doing errands. You couldn't beg borrow or steal a bag of salt in this town thanks to the weathermen scaring everyone half to death.
I did stock up on birdseed and just plan on pouring kosher and sea salt on the steps. What the hey...a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! Sorry you don't feel well Billie.

 yep billie...i can't sit for too long. just have to keep moving positions. i hope yours get's better soon. thank you for starting the thread today. one year alffe i used leftover lawn fertilizer. lol. couldn't find salt anywhere and hubby was stuck in the driveway. every time he took his foot off the brakes he would slide. he was heading right for the brick pillar. the fertilizer worked enough for him to get traction. he parked in the street. lol.

I think sand can help to...I have about 20 sand bags in the shed left over from a hurricane scare years ago...hubby waited in line for 5 hours to get those bags...we did not need them but felt driven to have them at that time....When we lived in INdiana I remember carrying around a small piece of carteting to use under the tire if I was stuck....thinking of you folks in the snow and ice....we are having unseasonably warm weather here.
I will take all of our heat over the cold any day....but that is just me...I am cold natured and my raynalds flares up in the cold. bizi I am sorry that your back still hurts billie, I hope you get some relief soon.

I've spoken with two of my daughters today...the one in Greenwood Indiana said it's in the fifties and the one in Bloomington said it's in the 60ties there!
Strange and stranger...we still have freezing rain. They are running around in shirt sleeves...I'm wearing my winter coat.

THey are in the southern part of INdiana. I'm in the Northern.
Its still in the high 30's here. Its really raining and sleeting and we are expecting more icy rain. Ice storm wont be surprising. Ugh, I am standing up so far though. I'm worried, I wanted to go to the grandkids show tonight, I'm not sure its safe for me. Donna |

Me too Donna..I'm in South Bend and it's nasty outside. Thank goodness I got all my running around done this morning before the temps started to drop.
I'm staying in for the night and putting on some Christmas music. Can't hurt...might help. *grin
