Hating yourself is not going to do you any good! Just get back on track and get going!

Think back and try to remember what motivated you in the first place to lose all the weight you did. Remember you have to do this for YOU...not someone else!!

Judy, how are you today?

So, I was reading an article that disputes the low fat diets and exercise regimen. It said the fastest way to lose fat is to eat a low carb diet. Of course exercise is a good thing and always will be but the article stated that by eating low carb or no carb helps to rid the body of accumulated fat and fat processed immediately. So, this explains why I have watched my fat intake and exercised and lost only two pounds. I am going to try this low carb thing and see how it goes along with exercise. Don't ask where I read this because it was at the hairdresser in a magazine...lol Heck, I'll try anything as long as I eat healthier!

my weight is unchanged this am but i feel stronger.
my BS's are good.

i skipped walking today. i think i'm rebounding from my massage yesterday but i'm in less pain. didn't even need my pain meds today.

finally good news to report.
i lost 1 lb. it's a start. i feel strong right now.

walked already and going to lunch with a friend.

not much else going on.
doing household tasks and using my "spoons".

hope you're all having a good wk/e.

yep, my ducks are in a row
til i got to the Aflac duck...oh, that's another story

weight stable this am. i still am feeling much more under control as far as appetite.

i still have to walk. it's late in the day.
i took a nap and i've been on the phone with long distance friends and family.

i saw an ad in the newspaper for a special on rooms at the Broadmoor for just the time we're going to be there. so i called and low and behold they gave me the price! $50 off per nite. so now the room is $85/nite for each of us. great price for the Broadmoor. it must be right at the beginning of the season for them (May 1) because then the rooms go for a least $500/nite. and, i made sure that the room will be the same as the mgr told me.

all the more $ we can spend while we're there

I have a friend who works for AFLAC...he knows that goose personally! It's not a duck! LOL! I tease him all the time!

So, I heard a commercial about weight loss tonight and all I caught was some kind of gag line about a "tummy sponge". So, then it got me thinking, that's a great idea! A sort of ContraCalorieceptive.

They could call it girth control.
