missed your twweeetttt cin.
i lost a lb when i got home

i'm really tired and need to rest up.
but we had a great time.
we got up in the am and then went to brkfst across the bridge in the main bldg. relaxed over brkfst and coffee.

then we went shopping. and shopping, and more shopping.
i got a neat beaded necklace and a couple of pin/pendants.
i also bought a couple of Franz porcelin teacups. they are so beautiful and i collect them. the Broadmoor has the best selection i've seen.

i got some other things too.
i took afternoon naps from about 3-5, then we got ready for dinner.
1830 to 2000 and then came back to the room and watched tv til bed.
we're definitely not partygoers.

we sat out by the lake in the sun. we walked around the lake.
i used my scooter a lot but also was on my feet a lot. but, not a lot of actual walking. our room had a patio and overlooked the lake. so beautiful. the grounds are gorgeous.

we also thanked and met the director of reservations. the room was near the elevator and had all we wanted. so now we have a connection for next yr. we'll call him direct and not muddle around with the reservation clerks.

they also remembered us in the dining room. very nice. they gave us chocolate covered strawberries for our BD's. and the first nite they gave us a box of chocolates. ummmmm.

the weather was perfect. sunny with a little wind. about 65.
it just couldn't have been better.
cathy may come back for a visit in sept but we won't go away.

well. that's the scoop. oh! we were told that Julia Roberts was at the hotel to attend a wedding. whose we don't know. we were looking for her but never saw her.

pt starts tomorrow again. back to normal i guess.

Hey all, checking in...been busy with being the boss now...
lots to improve there, trying to remind myself it will take time...so as to not get overwhelmed..one day I was truely arrggghhhh why did I do this change....

Anyhow, wanted to report for some reason, in last week or two I lost 5 lbs..finally....not sure if so busy not eating enough..haha..or what...

but she thinks she'll come back in Sept. no away time. just to spend a wk here.

i'm really fried today. i think all the activity is catching up to me.
i have PT in about an hr. after that i'm coming home to sleep.
