Thanks Froggie, you're not completely gone.
It used to live in the MS forum but we thought it might be nice to share the inspiration, if nothing but for a pick-me-up. Many of us have been supporting one another in the war for some time. We like to focus on encouragement and whole-life maintenance as opposed to "dieting" in the traditional sense. We only have one rule, no bringing up poor foods (sweets, fatty treats, etc.) in the Inspiration Alley.

Not to worry Gaye...the powers that be created more space for our new MSers from another forum. They are harmless for the most part. *grin

I am very glad that you are here. You bring a positive way to look at eating and at life in general. I, like our dear Froggie, am unable to do much physical excercise so my weight depends on what goes into my mouth. (In the past 12 months, I have only had 1/2 piece of bread.) I lost 22 lbs. in '07 and have pretty much kept it off but need to take off more. So maybe I can learn how to kickstart my "undiet" from our new friends.
Hoping to loose more weight, Nancy-H |

You can do it, Nancy! So can Froggie! I did it and I'm not too humble to say that I've stayed within +/- 10lbs of my 85lb loss for 17 years now!
I'm pretty handicapped now myself, I'm 45 and can't walk more than a couple feet at a time, my hands aren't strong enough to carry a beverage anymore, but I manage. It's a decision I make every single day, many, many times. I am decided, I am not going into a 24W ever again!!!! I leveled off at a size 16-18, I'm 5'8" and have a large frame. Right now, I weigh 176 and I'm okay with it. Honest! I hope you'll all share in the inspiration and offer your own inspirations to the others in the alley. Be warned, I have a whistle and I know how to use it!
