south beach diet is a great diet! I would try it with you affle but am having a hard time letting go of my beer and chocolate....both of which are not on that diet.

Jo, I think someone needs to hit me over the head with the pomegranit (spell). I need to revitalize my brain and get going. I think that AMN is going to motivate us...this will be good!

Alfee, the lo-carb or Sout Beach is truly a great plan and in all actuality is the sensible food group plan that AMN is talking about. Only this one says to leave starchs that aren't complex alone. Maybe we can get a South Beach thread going too. Hmmmm sounds good to me. I ready to start for the 9,000th time. So maybe this next time I will make it. Where there is Hope all things are possible.

That a girl AMN...get us all fired up, and kick us hard if we don't do it! Love your spirit!

You're right about keeping the pain out of it. I have been thinking alot about trying to stop talking about my pain. Now to get myself to do it! I need to keep it out of my posts on our forum, simply because it makes me so whinney! I want to be a happpier, more uplifiing frog. Pain makes me choke on my groak! LOL

Shelley, throw the rest of those candies out . I think AMN is really going to get us. As I hide my junk food too! We have a motavater in our forum. Great!

So, when is the Food Gestapo coming to help me clean out my fridge and cupboards? *licks lips and fingers to hide evidence of banana cream pie*

I've thought about joining this new local weight-loss group. It is based on the Biggest Loser. So you are with a group; you don't have to pay your weekly dues if your group loses the most.

BUUUUTTTTTT, I think I may be setting myself up for failure: DH and I signed up for a cruise at the end of Feb.

I can just imagine my eyes bugging outta my head when I get close to the buffet! How am I supposta be on a diet and ignore all that food calling my name? (Heeeeerre Fatty!)

I dunno, but I'd better do something soon -- elastic pants only stretch so far...

Ok so this is day 1 and I'm starving! I think it's the very idea of not having the carbs that's making me miserable! Sob!! I had 2 pieces of turkey bacon and v8 juice for breakfast, for lunch I had tunafish and steamed veggies, I just ate a piece of celery stuffed with low fat cheese and I'm crabby and hungry! Makes me want to drink!!
