If nobody else is going to open I guess I will. After dinnner I need to get busy at something. Burr....It's cold out here.Glad I got the furnace fixed, and just in time. There is frost on the pumpkins this morning.
Hows every one doing on their "D" & "E" today? I have gain a couple pounds lately from the ice cream eating. I've got nobody to blame but myself. I knew better. Now that it's getting colder my craving should go down. What excuse can I use next? Maybe baked goods, I get to wanting to be in the kitchen in cold weather. My new kitchen is beautiful also. I can hardly wait to move. I still can't exercise yet, I'm still to sore from surgery. Doing anything is a problem. I go to the Dr. this coming Thurs. I doubt if he will be to thrilled if I tell him all I have done. I have had to . My body is saying NO. Is anybody loosing weight, come forth and tell us about it. I need to get more serious about it. Karen we are glad you have joined us. You always come up with good ideas. I will say the aqua aerobic's did not make me loose any weight but it helped to be in a class at the "Y" and be with others. I was in good condition muscle wise tho, but muscle weights more. I have not been in it for over a year now and have lost without it with the girls cheering us on. We can all do it, for it is a state of mind. Lets be serious today and really get started. Then we can come in and stay I have lost ___ pounds this week. Try doing just one thing this day toward losing a pound. When you come in for roll call tell us what the one thing is. I'll start by saying, I'll work hard in the house plus get on the treadmill for a few minutes. I'll let you know this evening how I did. Hey BC, don't feel like you hafta start roll call. Someone will sometime, and if they don't, oh well. It's really not that big of deal, so if you don't want to, don't. Here's a coupla cheerleaders to keep you on track today! Sorry Biz, I now know it's your "alter ego" that I made a cheerleader. Sorry 'bout that, I'll fix ya one of these days..... It's so blurry cuz I took her/you off your avatar and you're so tiny there---ever been called tiny before??? You're welcome!! I LOVED your idea about just doing one thing to get us motivated and started. That is an AWESOME idea--great job!! Speaking of motivated--we need you Liz--come give us a pep talk or do your thing on us..... and, and, I'm kinda getting in the playing mood, so send me your pics so I can make your cheerleaders! As BC said, we should do one thing to get back into the swing of things today. My one thing is: I'm going to walk at my old time. thank you for being so motivated and encouraging this morning billie!
It is a beuatiful day here and there is the festival acadians this weekend so I am hoping that I get to do some cajun dancing...hubby still out of town and I have been eating most anything in the house to keep occupied. yes I will agree to try to get back on my "d" and do better today. It is getting to be gumbo weather here. bizi

Curious, Jan can take any pic and do things you can't imagine with it. We have her home e mail but if you can send it in a PM, that would be ok. Jan is great, and some day I am going to try doing graphic's myself. I'm not on my regular computer, so I don't have the pic's I like in the printer right now.I had to have a new hard drive put in it now. It's about time I'm getting it back too.

Hi silly ladies,
I had to spend the morning driving an hour away with my sister to go see about her cat at the vets. I don't think he is going to make it and it was pretty upsetting. I am trying to eat low cal every day using cereal and meal replacement bars but we went by McDonalds so I am sure I blew my cal counts for today. Exercise wise I do crunchs on a balance ball about 50 and some other PT exercises to strenghten my core. I need to go over to the pool tommrow and get some exercise in. My SI joint is giving me fits today and I am falling asleep from meds so I better go lay down. ((hugs)) Karen |
