Oh Billie I was so hoping you'd be better. Do call the dr...this has hung on too long.

We worked in the yard this afternoon even though it's chilly. Mr.Alffe transplanted a couple of bushes and I'm still raking leaves and burning them.
It's nice to be getting some exercise!

I wish I could do almost anything. I haven't even eat. I don't know which is worse, living alone or being sick and having no help. I haven't gained any, but not losing either.

I hired what I have got done this year. My nephew is coming tomorrow to spray for weeds & weed eat. He cut grass yesterday. I can't even be out. By Tues. I will be starting my third week of this. Talk tomorrow!
hugs for the room

Hi everyone, worked in the yard today and I am beat! Then we b-b-q'd some pork chops, you know the other white meat LOL It was a good dinner and we ate outside and enjoyed all of our hard work.

Billie, good to hear from you but sorry you are still sick. I hope you can get into the docs tomorrow. I think it is time to find out whats wrong so you can get better. Feel better soon.

I really had a great day today. Church was amazing and spending the day with hubby and kids was so much fun. My spirits are lifted...Sue

Hey gals!! Billie...I was glad to see you here but do get lots of rest and see the Doc ...watch those sugars too! I hope you get better real soon!
Well...did I have a moment tonight! For the last month or so I have had a recent photo of myself on the door of the fridge...my fat photo. Well, in the past these things have helprd me to remind me of what I do not want for me anymore.....for some reason this photo, horrible as it is, is not doing the trick. I still have not got on track! My moment came this evening when hubby and I were looking for some of last years camping photos. I found a handful of older photos and started flipping thru them. I almost croaked when I saw a picture of me 5 years ago or so....I was so slim! I wore little skirts...I had a tiny face and a big white smile and a lovely tan...........I LOOKED DYNAMITE! I was 58 pounds lighter! What happened to me? How could I let myself get so fat again? What is wrong with me that I cannot get off me a-s and exercise and eat right? No wonder I hide under baggy clothes now. It took me about 4 months to lose 50 of those pounds the first time. I could look great again by August.........I put that photo on the fridge now as well.....I want to be me again and feel good!

now I'll have to find one I like - like one when I was 25

Dorrie the pic never worked for me, but Dorrie you are close. Just to get discussed, is a start. You will have to get multivated, start, the each pound loss will make you stronger. believe me, it is not easy to do! After a few days lossing even a small amount, is enough to carry you through. Then it becomes everything to you. Please stay on South Beach or a good tv dinner to get started, OR have a plan, the rest comes easy. You can do it! If I can, you can. Its only hard at the begaining. Try it just a few days ad you will soon be on your way. Drink lots of water too.
Love Billie

Thanks Billie! It is funny you said "then it becomes everything to you"...if I think back I got so into losing a pound and really going for it...it was focused and very motivated.....it was April of that year when I started...it is April now!!
When you said I am close you are so right....I am tired of wanting to change on a daily basis....I am obsessive about hating how I look and feel....I spend alot of time and energy daily wishing I could get it together. I am so close I can FEEL it!!
WATER yuck....but because you have been such an inspiration to me I will focus on drinking some tomorrow. I normally do not drink any so I will keep track and let you know how I do!
Thanks Billie

Dorrie, I know you can do, you just have to believe you can. I will believe for you and pray daily for you. You will be so strong and start losing. I was so weak about it myself, thats how I know it can be done. I do have to give myself talks sometimes and remind self, you are worth it. I care, and God cares now make the effort just to get started. Do you have the 1000mg of Cinnamon that helps too? I like the Rexall brand and it is cheap at Wal Mart. Take twice a day with some food. Portion is important too. Eat just a small amount less and in time you won't want no more. My sugar is doing fine. I was only 100 and another time, 105 yesterday. Don't forget to exercise some, something you are not used to doing now, like maybe walking more. I walk sometime's when I could of drove the car. Gas is terrible, as you know already. Its good for you. You will do it!!!!!
Hugs,
Billie

Good morning all!

Ate pizza for dinner and also for breakfast cause got a friend spending the night till her house in park her is ready. Having fun with the pizza yet will STOP now and go back to healthy eating. Doc office called and after a test they say I got to take Prilosect for GERD. UGH! More pills. Maybe good eating habits and eating less will cause that to get better too. I hope so.

Dorrie sweety, don't beat yourself up...just start back on a good plan and like Billie said SB is a great one and in notime you will be shrinking. Then you and little Saffire can go out and play for exercise. WOW, you'll be a knockout in no time at all. froggie
