Hi Everyone!

room for one more? a friend suggested I check in - thanks!

I have been trying to eat better and walk but since the last flare up that has all gone to pieces.

Maybe I just need a little motivation from friends!

you betcha we got room!

i had my 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of yogurt this morning.

hubby wants to go to a greek festival.
the walking around would be great, but not all that yummy food. i'm trying think of an alternative.

i'm wearing an odd size. in between a 10 and an 8. i feel yuck in my clothes, but refuse to buy anything new.

an inexpesive pedometer ( between $5 -$10) will really help keep you moving yabbit. everyday set a goal for more steps. i don't settle for under 10,000 a day.

Hey all,

I am doing ok, have been maintainig at about 4 lbs under where I was but having a hard time losing. I guess slow and steady is good to lose right?

Had a yogurt with granola and some green tea this morning.

During the week I am doing a meal plan where its delivered 3 times a week. THe other two days I can manage with some semi good choices in the food court.

I had my blood drawn this week. Lets see if next week when I get the results if it has helped my cholesterol and trigs.

I think next week I might try throwing in a day or two of walking on teh tracks.

Also I am working out twice a week with a trainer at the PT place.

Found an excellent tool that has helped me with my arm strength but very gently. Its called a body balde and because I have a cervical issue I have to be careful with lifting weights. But this engages my whole arm and core body strength.

Ok thats all for today. I may go to the movies and will be sure that its un buttered and unsalted popcorn

Hi to all.....I ate Special K for breakfast, a Small Lean tv dinner for lunch plus yogert & Tea with no sugar plus Rice Cake for snack. I haven't had supper yet. I've been cleaning the house and resisted going and buying candy. That was hard, but I got to get serious NOW!

Am going to take the dog for a walk. Thats hard still also. Just biting my lip and doing it anyway. There is no easy way! Hugs to all.

Curious, your doing great! If that was my size. I would be proud.

Things just turned for the worse again.

I don't have a clue what to do or think.

I do know to call the nurse practioner on Monday.

But diahrea and cramps just returned.

Today was the first day I've been on regular food.

So headed back to the chicken broth, chicken noodle soup
and sprite zero tomorrow. And hoping hot tea will work too.

This morning that tasted good.

I'm not sure how to treat this, so I'm waiting.

Hi All,

I have a pedometer some place around here for I used to wear it every day. I will go on a hunt today to see if I can find it.

I was doing good yesterday - at dinner I had a huge salad with Vinigrete Dressing instead of Creamy Ranch and skipped the baked potatoe and butter. Had some steak and chicken but I did have a peppermint brownie after - it wasn't huge but it wasn't a sliver either! They tried to get me to bring one for the road but I said no and kept my will power!

That sounds great. I believe in eating moderately the brownies and things we like.

I personally, am having honey nut cheerios, right now, just those no milk.

I am not able to eat much of anything right now. So sprite zero, water
and what I can find that is dry or chicken broth or soup is it.

I had an english muffin with strawberry jam for breakfast - no lunch but a big dinner of bone / skinless chicken, half baked potatoe with light butter, a large salad with Vinegret Dressing. But, I ruined it with a scoop of apple crisp with a small scoop of ice cream on the side with the girls.

I did walk the dogs out back which when all done it is about 3/4 mile before dinner. It is out in a field and we move a large circle that I can walk around. So the ground is not flat or easy to walk on.

I was proud because today was the first day I haven't stipped in two weeks! Been a long couple of week since I started a flare....

Donna, how come you can't eat certain foods? Sorry I am coming in late!

Back on the healthy track tomorrow!

You really didn't come into this late.

My problems have just started, I am having trouble with keeping down
foods, and with diahrea. So right now the two things I'm having no real
trouble with are chicken broth and sometimes chicken noodle soup.

And sprite zero. I have test scheduled on Thursday to see if they can
figure out more ways to help my gastrological problems. But its really
been a bad couple of weeks, I just have real abdominal pains.

Which the new nurse practioner and doctor think my hernia's are causing the
problem. So I'm going to a surgeon next week. Man what a mess.
