Judy, it is normal to have the redness and burn type feeling. When my mom and grandma had radiation the same thing happened. It will all be over soon and they will get back to normal I promise.

i see the dr tomorrow because they do that every monday.
but i don't expect much to be diffferent.
all is going as planned.

know with the radiation focus on the surgical site for the next 2 wks, i just wonder how that skin will be.
under my arm and under the brst is really hurting.

i am just looking forward to when this is all over. i can go out whenever i want and do anything i want. freedom!

they gave me some lidocaine gel (which will be nice when it's cold from the refrigerator) for the burn. today was my last day of full breast radiation.
tomorrow they hone in on the surgery site. so other areas will start to heal.
i'm into my 5th wk! the end of next wk this will be over

right now a guy is making a house call for my scooter. my batteries are dead.
RATS! i did everything right and they just wouldn't hold a charge. but, they got approval from my dr and will be submitting the expense to medicare. then whatever they don't pay, i will. fun, fun, fun. i want my camry back. waaaa.

i'll lay down in about 30". it's late afternoon so i'm tired now. tomorrow i have an appt after my tx and will probably go to lunch. then wed it's grocery shopping again. i hate that.

so i'm thinking of you all too.

Hello dear sweet Judy~ I'm sorry I have been AWOL for so long, but just haven't felt up to being online. I just read and caught up on your adventures and I think the finish line is indeed, in sight for you.

I leave Wed pm for my DS's and then fly out to NC on Thurs, so even though I won't be online; you are always in my prayers.

Hi, dear Judy, you are rocking through to the end of this. The girls will thank you someday, believe it. They may be blushing now but they'll come to terms with all of this.

Let's plan your healthy celebration dinner for when this is all over. It will be nice if you invite you local supporters to come over and do some group fixing of a feast. The work of preparing your feast will be a nice group activity and you can all celebrate together.

Hmmmm. I'm thinking you could start off with a little veggies/dip thingy to munch on for an appetizer. What kind of entree? Seafood, fish, beef, pork, lambchops, mutton?
