Well, that explains things. Glad they can help to get it feeling better Judy.

I'm going to do some laundry in a bit and get the suitcases out. Jim and I are heading out of town for a few days on Thursday to see my cousin race and then meet up with a couple of friends in Kentucky.

You'll all be proud. I am packing two coolers. One with water and one with food so I wont have to buy too much while we're there and I can control what I eat.

What a relief, dear Judy! I'll bet that you'll be getting some much needed sleep these next few nights. A friend of mine has lymphedema of the legs and says the special massages help it quite a lot.

Road trip!!!!!!! Have a blast, Jim & Sandy! I'm jealous!!!!!!

Well, chicks, I am pleased to report that I am able to stuff myself into the skinny girl sizes, but still have the fat girl sizes near at hand. I'm being very careless since Jack died, I need to get more disciplined and quit eating out!

My car will be set up with the hook tomorrow and I'm hoping I won't be so reluctant to go to the grocery store once I don't have the intense fear of falling while assembling it.

Cindy, come on down! Get that hook and let's get going! I bet you'd get on the strip and race those dragsters! LOL We're staying at the Holiday Inn Xpress, your favorite. I'm hoping to remember my camera Judy!

Remember that bbq we went to on Monday? I think the pork may have been under cooked. Let's just say I think I lost a pound or two yesterday. Of course Jim was fine, he didn't eat much of it. I am much better, it only lasted the morning which told me it was something I ate and not a virus. Ugh.

Morning! How's everyone doing? We're in Indy waiting for my cousin to get here before we head out to test and tune. I'm having a bad breakfast, I know I shouldn't but they lured me in with biscuits and gravy. I'll balance it out with my cooler food. LOL

So....went to the doc for my postop check up and everything looks good.
I still have 2-4 weeks left of recovery but looks like its fixed ...yay!

I have started my healthy eating in full force....I would like to add some
excercise at some point , am hoping my foot will cooperate.

My blood pressure was great again yesterday, I hope that my habits
of late are contributing to this.

When I had my older two children....I gained almost seventy pounds...after
my second was born , I lost over 100 lbs....that was 15 years ago...two
babies later and some physical problems , Ive gained back about 70 lbs.

So I know I can do this, its just gonna have to be without step aerobics
and power walking 4 miles a day. Im hoping to be able to lift some light
weights though. I will let you know how it goes...I hate being fat!!!!

Not a chance! Me no likum racing, too noisy, hot, and stinky. My BIL works in it and has had me in the thick of things more than once, it's very dirty, too!

I confess, however, there is something quite liberating about blazing around a closed track!

You can do it, Sox, just get back to things as close to the way God made them as possible— He never fried anything or made gravy!

The weather has turned for the better and I'm inspired to move the bod some today. My need for Mexican last night did not help the cause against the muffin top.

Today, I will be procuring some produce and protein to get my fat butt back on track. How fun, I can even go to two stores now that I don't have to monkey with the scooter so much!

I especially like when those itty bitty dragsters hit the strip and rattle the ground beneath you.

I'll tell you a secret that not too many know. I have always dreamed of being in a demolition derby. I even have my outfit planned out. Pinky Tuscadero style!

hi sandy...you can't have anymore biscuits and gravy. AMN said so. it's not close to how God made it. hope you and jim have a great visit over the wk/e.

sox...i'm glad you're on the mend. take things slow and listen to your body. you'll know how much you can do.

AMN...so do you have the lift yet? how's it going? are you making t-shirts for your trip yet?

i went to get my compression thingy for my arm today. let's hope i can get it on myself. they say to use rubber gloves. easier to get the traction to pull it up without putting holes in it.

then i went to do some errands and out to Anthony's for a piece of pizza. i just didn't want to go home but almost did. and guess what?
a guy started to talk to me! that's right. a male. the opposite sex. what a shock. totally not expecting that. i thought a friendly hello was it but he asked me to sit down for a few minutes.

so i thought ok. that's nice. and that would be it. but, he gave me his business card and said to please e-mail or call him. we walked out to the parking lot and he said it again. so, i just e-mailed him a hello.

hey, i'll let you all know when we get married. i think he's younger than me but we didn't talk ages. nice guy.

...
