Billie,
they sound like wonderful folks and I am happy they are thinking about your kitties.
The holidays are tough especially this first year.
I wish that Bob did not have to leave you....
the memorial service.... and it will be hard which service to attend...go with your heart and which ever one will be easier on you physically.
((((HUGS))))

Thumbs up Hi befuddled2~

I am having my husbands family over for Thanksgiving. That will keep me busy. At Christmas, my trailer is to small for all show up for it. I will be at my sister in laws. I am used to being there so I wouldn't feel comfortable anyplace else. It is Christmas eve that I was with Bob (My husband). I may just stay home with the dog, Bear. He just loves attention.

You just gave me an idea. I have a friend that I exchange gifts with, maybe she could come over here Christmas eve, instead of in the daytime. That sounds good to me. She is a widow too and her kids don't come til the special day. Thanks for the idea!
Billie

Thumbs up Thanks Jan, beffudled, and Bizi~

This is more like the old forum, where we just come in and chat and help each
other out. I had missed that. We need to see if Gaye will come and talk with us. There are a lot missing. Haven't heard from Sherl for a while. Help me out, if you know any, and have their address let them know we miss them. I do know how to contact these two, but there are more. I'm just a blank right now. Thanks for cheering me on.
Blessings,
Billie

I usually drag it out longer because I love this time of the year.

I don't know how I'll handle Christmas. This is my first year without Bob. They are having to memorials this year the same day, just an hour apart. Soooo, I'll have to make my mind up which to go to. They aren't in the same town. I hope I can do ok, but I don't know. I chock up just thinking about it. no more Christmas'es with the one I spent 47 years with. He was my true love. Now I do have a lump in my throat. You see, I can talk myself into it.
Hugs,
Billie
Billie I do understand about the lump in your throat...everyones expectations about how we are supposed to feel! I'll be glad when they are over so I can just return to being thankful for my many blessings. My husband and I have been married 48 yrs and have good health, so far. I hope I go before him although I understand we have no say in that matter.

I also see that you are in my state...I am in northern Indiana but my relatives are from southern Indiana....Franklin, shelbyville. Warm hugs (((Billie)))

I should have told them I had a special diet and could only eat rolls with butter and desserts. And I have a secret passion, I have only given into once as an adult. Obviously I need a reality check besides a good diet.

Jan, the cake or bars or whatever you cooked sounds yummy. I am a pretty good cook but I don't bake. Probably a good thing. I played at the Indian casino kind of by Jordan, MN and we were all done in about half an hour! I don't gamble here hardly at all.

Mrs Q - Bless your heart, you've given me the idea of using an office chair to get around the kitchen. Marvelous idea, I will try it tonight!.

Sure was nice to get so many responses today! Enjoy your evenings, all.

Hot gravy on homemade bread....there is a desire to be wished!!!

We love to cruise Nancy and one of the reasons is all that food!
Today...as soon as the sun comes up..I am getting my big butt over to Curves!!
