Glad you're feeling better Billie!!
It seems like EVERYONE is sick!! Don't do what Big C does with her Mexican food and get it back right away!! If she wants to be a glutton for punishment, we'll let her do it alone........

I traded off my blazer (kinda like an SUV) last year for a mid-size car. (Ford Taurus) The way gas prices are, I think those big things are kinda expensive. I think most mid size have adequate room, and are front wheel drive for winter driving, so I feel safe--even up here.

Oh--had Vodka AND champagne!! Wonderful time, I think......... JUST KIDDING! No, I had a great time, but I felt guilty because he spent way too much money! I mean, when we pulled up to the Marriot, I almost got pulled outta the car by the door man. Then, we had to take an elevator up to the 5th floor to the lobby. And if that wasn't enough, we went to dinner at a place where I'm glad I had a dress on.......WOW!!! I had a rhinestone choker and bracelet set on that I hope they thought were diamonds.....holy crap... I wouldn't order a $40.00 steak where the salad was extra.....I settled on the $25.00 one........

Anyway.....home safe and sound, and I'm glad you're better Billie! I had to drive to Mayo this morning from Minneapolis for my Dr. appointment with the weather kinda iffy. Sure glad it was mostly rain! Sure glad I only had a little hangover too.

I'm done now.
Hugs,
LS

Default I'm glad to hear about your date~

Jan this guy sounds serious. Forty dollar steaks, you got to be kidding! I have never ate that good before. Make him a lot of cookies! Some guys do appreciate the home cooked food because they don't get it from all gal's, thats for sure. Mine loved the homemade apples pies. I can see him winking NOW. He always knew I made them just for him. I am going to miss him this year for sure. I do have a friend coming over that is staying all night. That helps, then we are going on to my SIL's house Christmas day. That's about what I done every year only just with Bob. I do appreciate friends, that will go the extra mile with you.
