i was supposed to have my mammo and US this am.
what a fiasco. not what i was suspecting. isn't it always?

i was told that the US wouldn't be done. the radiologist didn't think i needed it based on last yr's info. to say i quietly blew my top is an understatement.
i said he couldn't do that. my dr ordered it. and who was he to change the order based on last yr. i'm a cancer survivor and what does he know happened this past yr? OMG was i really mad.

so i had to reschedule for fri. then i had to change my md appt to next wk. plus the angst it caused me because i was really set on the plan for today and knowing this wk. did i say i was really ******?

my dr's office said the mistake was theirs and someone goofed. i was told that the radiology place didn't enter the order correctly.

you can bet i'm talking to the boss on fri. wait for the 2nd saga.

Judy, the US and the mammo should be on their dime (regardless of whether you have insurance). They've inconvenienced you enough. Better yet, look for another doctor. And I'd report them to the medical board in Florida.

I am officially going to stop complaining about our 93 degrees here.

hi everyone,

GOOD NEWS, YAY!
my mammo and US were both normal. all is benign.
so, i'm free for another yr! i'm so relieved. i'm not thinking about it anymore.

it's still hard for me to sit at the computer and that's why i'm not on as much.
but, you all still mean a lot to me and i care about you all.

That's wonderful news, Judy! Isn't it funny how a few words can bring us such relief? I know you've been through alot with breast cancer and I'm so happy that you can think about something else now. Worrying is exhausting. I still haven't figured out how not to do it!

it's pointless not to worry. it's normal so i just accept it that way.
but, i also try to keep my personal power and stay in control.

thanks all.

hi guys,

i hope you're having a nice long wk/e.

i just saw my neuro and he gave me the ok to stop taking my copaxone for 2 wks. i was getting so sick of the daily sticks plus the blood sugar sticks twice a day. i have to say it's been really nice not to have to do it.

i wish it could be longer but i'm not ready to say no more yet. it's been 8 1/2 yrs. i'm also hoping a break will help my sites heal up a bit. getting hard to find good areas to inject. my arms feel better already.

well, hope you're all well.
