Grin Makeup: The Good da Bad & da Ugly

Is there a product you love? One you don't? Didn't live up to the advertising?

Let's talk makeup.

I have 3 daughters. Ages 28, 25 & 14. We try and have tried oodles of products. It's fun. I use coupons. Cheap entertainment.

The latest product that Lil'Monkey (14) and I tried was Loreal's new Double Extend mascara. The commercial shows that is it like putting false eyelash tips on. Hmmm...I thought...this would be a time saver for Lil'Monkey befre her performances.

Beyond fantastic. Wowza, long lashes. Washes off like a breeze. Yep, with just water the little "tips" come right off. We tried that.

It was a white product that you put on first. Then use the color. Do one eye at time. The package said that and we found it does work best. If you want super duper long, do many coats. We played around a bit.

You do need to wash the mascara off before going to bed. Lil'Monkey didn't one night. She had black spots on her pillow case.

I give a to Double Extend.
