Cool Mid-week Chit Chat...

Hi all!!

I just thought I would check in...

I went to the Pdoc this week... he bumped up my Zoloft to 25mg, 3 times a day. He dropped my Cymbalta to 30mg once a day. Told me to move these around to different times of the day to find out what works best for me.

Everything else is still the same:

800mg Seroquel at bed.
1mg Xanax twice a day.
50mg Amitriptyline at bed.

I also take a couple of other medicines for my RSD...

I am so tired of taking meds, but I am being good and taking them as told.

I go to the Tdoc tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good week!!

Abbie

Shocked

oh, Abbie...

3 drugs that affect serotonin?
75mg a day of Zoloft
Cymbalta 30mg a day (are you tapering off this?)
And 50mg of amitriptyline?

I think this is quite odd. I'd so some internet searching about this combo... Hasn't your pharmacist talked to you about this?

http://www.drugdigest.org/wps/portal...zdGVwL2luZGV4/

Please be careful.

MrsD...
Thank you for the information.

I am tapering off of the Cymbalta.... down from 90mg/day.

Pdoc is fully aware for the mixed meds I am on... my pharmacist has not mentioned the mix at all.

I take 25mg Zoloft in morning, then Cymbalta around noon, 25mg Z mid afternoon, 25mg Z mid evening, 50mg Amitriptyline at bed.

I've tried to spread them out as much as I can. So far no adverse side affects that I notice.... I don't feel any different than I did before the med change.

Bizi...
I'm holding on... still battling the rollercoaster though mostly I've been low end with an occassional major energy surge.

I almost feel like I am heading back into a mixed state again.

I go back to the Pdoc in 3 weeks.

Dear Abbie,
Sorry about your mood situation.
The mixed states are awful.

Went to Tdoc today...

Go back in 2 weeks but have to call her sometime next week.

I am stuck... it feels as though the depression is getting heavier...

I'm a bit scared as I'm getting very anxious and worried about this and it's sending me into a manic area...

I hate this vicious cycle stuff... I've been on the depression side for a few months now with a few manic and mixed moments here and there.

I could cut the Seroquel but I know what would happen in a short time... I'd become WONDER WOMAN again.

I'm on a lot of meds but nothing seems to be working... Tdoc says there's a chance that the SSRI's are just not the thing for me... and I know that the Cymbalta (SNRI) had pretty much stopped working.

Well... I have a migraine and the light from this computer is not helping.

HI, Abbie,
Are you able to talk to your pdoc about what is happening?
