Dear Mari
glad you like them. i love both these songs. i remember listening to She's a Rainbow when i was a kid - my dad had the record. ![]() that song came to mind for how i felt (mood) the few days before getting sick. i was like really getting into color coordination and swooshy things... with a cheeky exciting sort of feeling. but wonderful. palpable. edible. definitely alive. WatchTower got itself stuck in my head at some point when i was sick of having racing thoughts.... there must be some kinda way outta here............. there's too much confusion... oh so true. of course at the times mentioned i forgot to post... just remembered last night... something else reminded me of the rainbow and that reminded me of the other. rofl. ~ waves ~ of logic loosely twisted to gether with colored ribbons |

Waves,
![]() Benzos and lithium. For the woman, birth control to save us from the next generation. I am in process of responding to my HR file. It is not fun. The file is shorter than it might be because after our confrontation I have rarely had to deal w/ her directly. I was 100% aware then that the problem happened because I had 3 hours of sleep. In a different set of circumstance, I MIGHT have been been more quick thinking. Is there any chance you can tone things down a little? Is it possible to back off so that neither one of you has a bad taste in your mouth? Just checking. I'm aware that if one is dealing with a person intent on being difficult, there is relatively little you can do. I remember that when I taught eighth graders, many days my goal was that no one was bleeding at the end of the day. Some days, my goals were lower -- that everyone was alive at the end of the day. With goals so low, I had successful days! Here is my favorite line from Body Heat w/ Kathleen Turn and William Hurt: "Sometimes the sht comes down so hard I think I should wear a hat." Here is a hat for you: ![]() Take care. Be kind to yourself. Mari Last edited by Mari; 01-27-2011 at 09:39 AM. |

![]() i had a terrible time however, with the 12-13 year olds ... possibly due to a parentally-sustained "bad element" in that class who, for e.g. drew and distributed porn, talked dirty, made faces, backtalked constantly - and was good at it, he was ON... teacher was a casual irrelevance. a successful day with them was where i felt at least one person learned something. usually that happened. i also had a class of 11-12 year olds. they were fun. wilder, louder, but more controllable (mentally young enough to respond to standard discipline/threats thereof) - and fun. but the first 2-3 days of subbing i came home wanted to rip all my hair and fingernails out and then bash my head in. and STILL, i did not not encounter physical violence/bleeding!!! that's ... yiikes!!!! i do not know how if i could have handled that!!! (((hugs))) Quote:

This song is sung by "Gary Lewis & the Playboys". This is the comedian Jerry Lewis's son.
The song is,"Count me In". Click on the Youtube where you see the band, and that gives you a much better sound quality. In though about this song for several nights before I went to sleep. I thought that it was a song by Ricky Nelson, but it was Gary Lewis. It's a cheerful tune. BF ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Can you bring this song to this thread? It's a upbeat song. You will like it I believe. I don't know how to bring these links in. It's called,"Count me in".
