Another new Pdoc... not sure how long this one will last....

Upped one med.
Completely dropped another.
Kept the other meds the same.

Said if things haven't changed by next month...going to try a different AD:confused:

Pdoc asked lots of questions that I was not prepared to answer... some I did... other's I did not. She had me step on the scale... gained about 20lbs in last few months. :(

i am sorry if you felt uncomfortable at the pdoc... it is ok not to be able to answer all their questions... i agree with bizi though, that she sounds thorough... and attentive. probably next time she won't ask bunches of questions again since it won't be her first time seeing you. it is good that she is willing to change your meds, to try different things, try to find a plan that will work better for you. i am sorry it is so hard on you. i know changing meds is no fun.

Dear Abbie,

you mentioned in the other thread you had found a doc who understood the pain of RSD... feel like telling us more about that? when you are up to it, we are here! :hug:

Went to the University Pain Center...

Doctor there understood my pain... never questioned in doubt...

He literally poked my body from toe to head... with a safety pin.
And that nasty little hammer thing... OUCH!!!

He wants me to try another medicine with hopes that I won't be allergic to this one too.... Said if this one doesn't work...there are a few others that we can try.

He also talked to me about some other things that may be possible and some things that are still in the research faze...

I am being cautious about all of this... but really have nothing to lose by trying new meds or therapies.
