Stay warm Steve. It is single digits since Monday below zero at night. Add that to the wind chill its havoc on my asthma. Snow twice this week. The guys are working and it's too cold for the road salt to work. On the good side, when its this cold the snow is dry enough to blow around. I went with a BFF of 38 years for moral support at a hearing for ex husbands fraud case on retirement benefits. He added his second wife although the divorce stated my friend was to receive. Still not resolved today as documents were missing. Her ex admitted on the stand he knew it was not right but never notified anyone. Now that second wife is divorcing him, I guess he is ready to come clean! But it was so cold when we left only 4* out. Ate at Olive Garden and she felt much better. After 2 years next hearing is in less then two weeks. Hope it is warmer!

video of cold air

Hi,

Here is a NOAA map of cold air moving across the US from Saturday to Thursday:

Quote:

As anyone north of Florida has probably already pieced together for themselves by now, this week has been a bitterly cold one for most of the country. The bad news: The frosty weather is expected to stick around over the next few days for much of the country. The good news: NOAA has this rather awesome-looking video of how the cold air spread. It's probably not an equal tradeoff for those of you living in Crane Lake, Minn. (where the mercury fell to negative-35 degrees Fahrenheit on Tuesday), but, hey, at least it's something.

Hey Mari. That was interesting. We had a snow dusting today, and the temperature didn't go above freezing. It's 23 degrees right now.

I hope that it kills more, and more stink bugs.:) BF:hug::hug::hug:

I have to agree about it killing off the bugs but boy is it cold for NC and we got the ice not so much snow.
Try to stay way warm and be safe till the roads clear later in the morning

Hi,

The days are getting longer.
When I come home at night after my long days we still have some light.

I am so happy.
In one more month we change clocks (Spring Forward).

Felt good to see sun after 5. PM.
We had terrible squalls come through again today. Tonight is still icy out tons of accidents. I got called out for tractor trailer rear ended by school bus, but the attorney for the trucking co. Told the employer not to let me risk accident. I can get the photos and follow up tomorrow. Felt bad for the driver, he was very upset nothis fault, the bus could not stop. Minor injuries and he is okay.
Me,
Snug as a bug, but waiting for men to get off work. Living on the mountain is travel risky. I worry with all the accidents tonight.
Down in teens up here again.
Watching undercover boss, shark tank, and listening to the police scanner.

Be careful DiMarie

I know what the weather is giving in our area.

So I can only guess there.
