Thanks Bizi, i will.
Hunkering in , ds has work at 4 PM, dh suppose to go in at 7PM. As soon as it starts accumulating, ds will leave, I am hoping. Dh is stubborn enough to think he can make it down off the mountain and home again. Steve, it Looks like about a foot, getting the back side, more then the direct stuff Massachusetts will be getting. Donna, would love to feel some 40's right now. At least brutal cold eased up the last two days to 20's. I hope Derrik feels better soon and doesn't get any worse. |
[QUOTE=DiMarie;955450]Massachusetts will be getting.
[QUOTE] My family members in MA are being told to brace for 60 mph wind gusts (blizard conditions). On Monday, temperatures are expected to be warm (snow and ice will melt) so they are only feeling this concern for two or three days. M |

QUOTE] Dear Di, :hug: :hug: The men in our lives do that sometimes . . . keep things exciting by making us worry. I hope you all do fine in the storm. M |
Mari, I hope they are not affected by the trees , losing power for any length of time. Crossing my fingers and sending good thoughts. Ds was smart enough to let employer know how bad it was getting, he is almost home. Dh, just left and drove into the mess, thinks the CRV is a tank I guess.
I am warm and dry, pizza coming with ds, then after news and Jeopardy is Shark Tank. Wow, a plow flipped in VA, did not realize it was bad that far south. |
Yes the 40's is nice. The wind chill was making it the 20's but that was
okay. Donna:grouphug::hug: |
waiting for the storm to hit the east.....
be safe everyone. hope you all don't lose power and can safely stay at home. bizi |
What a powerful Nor'easter!!! I haven't seen one with snow,and wind with our current technology on TV,and the computer images in February. Wow! It's really strong around the North eastern coastal areas. It's moving in the counter clockwise rotation with the back spirals of the storm coming in from the North,to the North West I believe from what I can see.
The people who endured Sandy will have to endure this one (Nemo) too. BF:hug::hug::hug: |
Hi, Steve,
The storm is indeed powerful. Mari |
I am eager to see some pictures of the snow.
I guess I have to wait until morning when the new news comes out. Maybe I should go to sleep. Mari |
thought and prayers are with everyone in the northeast.be safe and stay warm.
