Hugs to you today bobby,
I hope that the vacinations go ok and that you are able to walk a little bit with luc. I think going to the singles group would be fantastic...any chance you could have a friend go with you????

Dear Bobby

the religious group sounds like a good idea. you could just go once and see what it's like. i understand the feeling of having friendships yet being frozen. your good friends will still be there when you are able to reach out. can you think of a low stress way to do that. what about email just to say, hello, thinking of you. you know, not a big deal with news and what not. sometimes i start out like that and then things just flow. but if not, don't worry.

i would like to remark on something in your use of language ... it is both expressive and formative (feeds back into your thoughts). when you say you will be 'forced' to take luke for walks. i can hear your fear about it. i am not saying deny the fear, or that it shouldn't be there, only, can you use language to help mitigate it - shifting focus away from the 'mandatory' aspect. even just soften it a bit. examples:

i will need to take luc for walks (still mandatory but softer)
luc will need me to go walking with him.

i will get to start walking with luc. (more focused on companionship)

or howabout... (hehe)

luc will start taking me for walks. ;):D (a bit of a role reversal - luc taking care of you)

just food for thought.

i am so glad you are feeling less stressed. i haven't got on the scales in ages either. :( my folks are buying pies and icecream and... sigh.

love

i reread your post a few times and will try some of your suggestions. i think they might make life easier and less threatening. oh wow your parents are really living it up. what temptations.
i really appreciate your help big time. you are so thoughtful

hi
i am confused ..ask robert to go for the vaccination or to the group. he would never go to the group and i would never ask him and i wouldn't ask him to go for the vaccination because supposely you have to wait a long time. i only ask robert for emergencies. he is a very busy person and he has been so giving to me. i am very careful in what i ask him

I understand now.....:(

mymorgy 06-28-2010 09:52 PM

now i am stressed out because luc hasn't urinated today and he only pooped once and it was way off target. i surfed the net and saw others have had the same problem. he might be a very sensitive doggie
bobby hoping it isn't a physical problem and that eventually he will chill out because this is really stressful

Dear Bobby,

I'm following along wishing I could help you.
I remember that Luc goes to the vet on Tuesday.
Also the group you found meets on Tuesday as well.

You can ask the vet about the doggie's behavior and if he has some suggestions about the right food . . . . also if this is unusual . . . .
. . . within normal range.
You'll feel better when you talk to the vet.
M.
