Default Been low

I've lost interest in things again. I get into these depressive states from time to time since moving. I'm alone most of my days and nights and there's not many people to talk to most the time. Today I didn't even want to go to the bar down the street or talk to my sister which I always usually do every day. I'm trying to find a ride to play scrabble this Monday. It is at night and I do not see at night to drive so I need a ride. It seems like everything is an effort to do though.

Blue, I'm not into painting but am into taking pictures.

Beth, I am sleeping more some days and less others. My diet is eating too much as usual but still a lot of good food. Maybe I will join Weight Watchers again and meet some friends there to hang out with and talk to. I need some girlfriends for sure. At least I can drive to the WW meetings and not have to worry about a ride.

Donna, I'm so down in the dumps that I don't even feel like taking any pictures. I really lack people in my life that I so desperately seek to have in my life. I've never liked to be alone and although I'm use to it most of the time it gets depressing every now and then.

Loneliness is terrible.

Thank you Beth and Waves. I'm not sure I want to join Weight Watchers after thinking about it. I never could get into it much when I was in it before. However, today I picked up a schedule for the Parks and recreation activities. Most of those activities are free or very low cost so they are more affordable than Weight Watchers. There are card games during the day nearby me that I can go to. I would just be interested in the one on Wednesday's though. I will work on getting a ride to play scrabble on Monday too as those things are what really interest me.

Waves, I had lots of friends like you described and now they are history. Most of those friends of mine though did things to be mean to me so I'm better off without them. I understand though how you must feel.

In a little while I go to have the air conditioner in my car checked. I hope it doesn't cost too much money to have fixed.

Barbara... does your community have an access bus?? I know many communities have this for the disabled, over 60 crowd, and those who fall under the federal poverty guidelines. You may want to check in to it....

Also... many communities have a web site of activites that are going on and have a calendar of these dates. They also list many services for which you may be eligible for... they also list places that needed volunteers.

Just some ideas but check it out.... if you need help searching for these things in your community just PM me with your city and/or county and I would be more than happy to do a search for you.
