Thanks,
He is all excited and finally coming out of the dump he has
been in.

I am so glad. I wasn't sure what to do next.

Heart

Dear Donna

so happy for all the good news... you are feeling better, hubby has new job, yaaaay!

tenderness or mild swelling in neck area can be swollen lymph nodes as Kay said - could mean ear or sinus infection... if so, could affect balance / dizziness. easily checked by any mdoc, and sooner the better.

tenderness/swelling should feel different (soft but quicker pain to touch) than tight muscles. touch the area very gently with your fingertips and try to discern. swollen lymph nodes will "reply" very quickly and usually do not feel stiff. they may feel globby and shift around with hardly any pressure at all. stiff muscles won't move without a good deal of pressure.

other thought is if you've had a long period of bed rest, perhaps you just need a readjustment period - you have not been using your ears for balance... i agree if it does not resolve soon check with your Neuro or migraine doc - the person that did the Dizziness training in the past.

hope you feel better soon... really glad you are up and about again, and for your hubby's new job.
