I guess it's time, getting older stinks and the shot might help lessen the impact of the actual flu if we get it. My head aches today, and my throat hurts, but NO chills, fever of 99.8 but that's okay, I don't have chills. LOL! Thanks for caring, you guys are the best!

Hey Mari, still sick as a dog here. Feeling like sleeping but with jackie home I can't really do that. At least I am over the stomach aspect of this flu bug. Just wish the headache and fever would leave too.

I'm sorry you're still sick! As someone else already mentioned, I'm also glad you all got sick at the same time. I know it is harder that way when you have kids tho.

I'm glad that a lot of you got the flu shot. I started getting it every year once I started working in healthcare. I would've felt terrible if I gave one of my pts. what I had and they ended up having a serious complication.
Now I get it for myself because the flu could cause serious complications for me. I had to skip last year because I couldn't get one.

Some of these flues aren't sensitive to the vaccine, and a lot of them are lingering here in Mass.

I hope you feel better soon!

Finally feeling better, no fever this morning thank heavens. Actually feeling kinda good. Hope it lasts. Kept Jackie home again because he's still coughing and got colored snot from his poor runny nose but other then that he's good too. He's back to school monday though.
