hey i am glad you feel the mania has ebbed off or significantly so... a little hypo after being manic though you know is.... still manic, technically, just to a very low level.
we use different words so i'll try again. what i mean is if it's pretty well slowed but not come to a halt, then, still be careful they are like hurricanes the blow fast then blow slow then seem not to go and then it's full force again... (((hugs))) hang in there. i thank whoever invented blueberry beer. ~ waves ~ |
I understand what you are saying waves.
thank you. I think the accident and breaking my collar bone really threw me. I don't handle change very well and this totally upset my life. today is a beautiful day...must try and get out in the yard to do some yard work....I stayed in bed 3 extra hours this morning not sleeping just resting because I saw no reason to get up. there is nothing I have to do today, which makes me uncomfortable. bizi |
how are you feeling today

just getting on line tonight.
Friday night went to see/hear the university orchestra play with michael ducet, jeff got to play along with him on 2 songs it was great! last night went to a fund raiser and had desert and watched while they presented a life time achievement award to Michael ducet, a cajun musician and his band. then went to listen to hubby play with the big band sound of the sky liners. lots of elderly couples dancing to the music they grew up with. It was great!!!! Today got up late, had breakfast with hubby, went grocery shopping for salad fixings and strawberries that we are bringing to a cook out for this afternoon at 4. We went and had a very nice time. he cooked salmon and shrimp on the grill. It was a great meal. I drove so I could be the designated driver so jeff could drink margaritas etc. which he did. we then took a walk after dinner. My arm is doing better, it doesn't hurt to walk. and I can clap now! it hurt to clap before. I need to do some paper work before the evening is over. I am having a blue berry beer now that I am home, it is very good. bizi |
Yesterday my helper called in because her little boy was sick so I worked the day by myself and saw even more clients than normal. I worked longer hours then what I could work with her time limits.
I did fine. So I called her to tell her that I was fine and that I did not need her any more. This upset her as she had planned on having 2 more weeks paycheck and I originally told her it was for 4 weeks work. I talked with my friend about it and decided that I should pay her anyway...that was the right thing to do. So I called her up today and told her that I would send her a check and asked her if I could call if I needed her...and she agreed. So today is tuesday, my 2nd day solo...it feels so good to have my life back to somewhat normal. My chicken had gone bad that I was going to fix for dinner it smelled like amonia! so jeff ran to the store and picked up a rotissie chicken and we ate the whole thing! along with a big salad..I am so full. After dinner we went for a real walk. It felt good to be walking but my left knee is still kind of bothering me. my shoulder is stiff. I have been trying to throw my shoulders back for good posture, still doing a few range of motion exercises that the ortho approved, several times a day. Tomorrow I see my tdoc at 4pm. 2 weeks ago I was very manic, and she was very concerned... Jeff is taking harriet to the vet's at 2 because she has been drooling/draining and her face is more swollen. It is either infected or the cancer is fast growing...we will find out tomorrow. We have been giving her some extra wet cat food because we are not sure how much she is eating of the dry food any more. She loves the fancy feasts salmon. My mood is more normal now, am glad to say that. since I have been taking the mobic I have been stopped up. not good. I should get ready for bed.... thank you for your support. bizi |
Bizi
I am glad things are doing so well. Hope you aren't rushing things. Sending hugs:grouphug: Donna |
Dear Bizi,
I'm glad that things are getting back to normal! :) I think it's super nice of you to pay your assistant even though you don't need her anymore. You've saved a mom from hitting a rough patch- not everyone cares enough to do something like that. It's a good idea to start taking some colace (I use generic) to counteract the constipation. Maybe 100mg before bed? You can ask the pharmacist. Also, drink a lot of water if you don't already. Heat and/or ice and elevation may help you knee. Maybe just heat on your stiff shoulder. I'm sorry about poor Harriet! I hope it's not the cancer returning so quickly. Feel better Bizi! Kay |
thanks kay, I started myralax a few days ago...sigh
good news!!! harriet does not have an infection, no fever, and he did not think that her cancer is getting bigger just as long as she is eating she is fine. She hated going in today very very hard to get her out of the carrier, so we agreed that we would not take her bback in unless it was absolutely necessary. what a relief! bizi |
Dear Bizi,
That is good news about your mood being ok and about being back to your work groove. M. |
I'm so glad that Harriet is okay!!!! :):):)
