The moon appears red when it is low on the horizon. I saw the red / brown color very early --before it was even dark outside.
Later on in the night the redness was gone.

WOW Blue thanks for sharing,
We had so many clouds most of the night, then the clouds cleared much later, but could not get a detailed photo.
I really enjoy the the masterpiece.

It was cloudy here all night... could see the light and the size just not the moon...

Oh well... There will be other great looking moons...
