During one of my PI family advocate cases I was threatened and stalked by a irate father. The hearing is at 2PM today. I know that I have the facts, but PD reports not available prior to see what PD wrote, or the 911 tape there with all the evidence.

I hate this, I am trained, this is my expertise and know that under the right to know and being a victim I am entitled to the records, but if I can not get the records how are novices preparing their cases?

This guy would lie on his grandma's life to get away with anything. I represent three of his victims for support, but could use some emotional support due the the anxiety panic issues that are ongoing.
I caught his attorney in fraud records I found that he and his client falsified records and reports to interfere with mothers custody. They are unscrupulous.
Let you know how it turns out.

WHeww, over. Thanks for helping me with the anxiety attack.
Now I have t wait for decision in 5-7 days.

Once I knew that his attorney never showed up, and then he stood in the doorway continuing to talk to the attorney ignoring the magistrate call to order, I felt confident.

I am concerned that maybe my past police experience may have made me appear to confident to have been a victim that night, or that I should have been prepped to be harassed and threatened by the jerk, no matter how threatening he became.

So the prayers gave me confidence, but was I cocky??? When he testified he admitted the acts, but said that I was just trying to make trouble for his family. Then he stated I called him a loser and would take his son off him, the magistrate gave him a piercing look.

He asked if I had anything else, Just that I had worked with the family for many months and I do not speak in that manner, I just report any infractions to the courts. I would not jeopardize my credibility over speaking in that manner.

I did not remember to show the photos of the three women that he assaulted. I had their PFA's as they are my clients also along with video of the assaults and photo's of their injuries. Black eyes, broken noses...
Also forgot his 35 citations for similar charges.

I just had a feeling the magistrate did not need the drama.....plus if the jerk is going to appeal as he always does, then I did not give him my upper hand.

OH, the attorney would have been more then the fines technically. But it is a control game to intimidate me.
I no longer have contact with the family visitations as they attained 50-50, but still am the advocate for the two women with criminal charges against him....

The guy admitted to the acts. His justification will carry little weight. I'm sure that the judge has a copy of his criminal record, containing convictions and charges, and will use that info to determine the offender's credibility and sentencing.

No matter how much police experience you have, you are still a victim.

I hope that this guy gets more than a slap on the wrist. It sounds like he's a danger to women.

Well the judge found him guilty of ONE charge. $500 fine.
The goof ball will appeal....he thinks the purpose of an attorney is to pay him to get him off the hook.

I have the girls I did the PI work for their assault and battery against them by this idiot to finish yet. The police refused to file charges as they are the private security at the bar they were punched in the face and spit on.

What is wrong with the police. Most are good, or is it that many just are lazy, unconcerned uniform muscles, and the rare are the ones that really care to help protect and serve the public.

Now I have issues at work that someone dropped the ball on a police report, told me they sent a request by mail....two months later I am getting blamed because the report never came....Can't blame the full time person, or the office manger, let type in inch high RED letters that I should have followed up the primary adjusters records to see if the report came.....
My assignment done...but blame someone for their screw up.
I requested someone to call me about that webmail....three hrs ago. I also sent the proof from the state police the report had never been requested by anyone, let alone our main office...

Sorry to rant, I need to do an invetory on a claim from last night, which was heavily invested with fleas and having trouble focusing with the rudeness of the owner of the company....
