Waves

I have experience in the family with Amitripillyne.

I believe both my older son's have taken it at one point. Not positive
about my oldest, but my younger one for sure.

He didn't tell me it was making him so sleepy, and not letting him get
up. It was after this one that we went to, Lexapro, then depakote ER.

My husband takes it now. He had problems for over I think 2 years
going to sleep. And migraines. I finally talked him into going to
my Neurologist/opthamologist. He was put on this. He takes I believe
a 50 mg now. But he takes a 25mg, usually right now, but will be
starting back on the 50 I'm sure now that he has a job.

Oh I have to tell everyone about that.

I take for migraines, and high blood pressure so far.
verapamil 240 ER, hydrochlothriazide, And toprimate. Then I also take
gabapentin, methocarbamol 750mg, and I have xanax for if I need it.

My other meds is medformin. I then take magnesium, iron, calcium,
Vitamin D, Hair, Nail and Body, Cinnamon.

I take a couple others when I remember. But I am not sure why the
doctor has never considered, this one particular drug, I've even asked
about it before. And its always been a no.

SO I'm not sure why.

Thought I would add, right now my depressive side, and anxiety is
pretty good. The Fact that my husband has been given a gift I
believe by being called by the Indy union hall, for a Lilly building.

We don't know how long it will be, it was thought to be a short
call which are two weeks. But its definately a long call, and that
means it could be more than two weeks.

I'm not sure how long he will like this one, but I'm hoping a long time.
After a while we would have our insurance back, from what I understand.

But that is least right now. My husband was starting to get so depressed,
I was getting worried. He also got approached tonight for our side
little company a job.

Life is good for the Roberts family right now. My middle son is waiting word,
he may have a full -time job. WOuld you guys concentrate on saying prayers for Devin to get this job, or if its not for him another one soon.

My oldest son Danny is helping me clean out, then will help paint the room that will be my office. He is laid off and very bored.
He is worried about not having insurance, and his disease of ulceratus colitis.
So I will be looking into how to get his drugs, and he will have to pay to go to docs.

hello I would talk to the doctor who perscribed it ! I have read that gabapentin is a drug for treating depression ,nerve damage it will work I think you are takin the right dose if you mood is upward for the better I take it to I find it can give me a mixed reactions most times i am ok but i be carefull i have a pinched nevre and nerve damage i take it for but it can make my moods change I can tell when it does that to me but for the most part it works for my leg ok good luck keep doin what your doin

Hi, Jemjeff,

I'm sorry that you are suffering.
I will have to update my psychiatrist and the internist. The internist won't believe that the low dose works. She had had a discussion last summer about low dose Wellbutrin (100 mgs).
Probably I should call the psychiatrist and not wait to see him.

Hi
I was given those tablets recently for moods but I have not taken it as every time they give me an antipsychotic not sure if this is it gives me severe muscle pain and i suffer with CFS fibromyalga and other pain conditions which defeats the object.

Actually gabapentin is sometimes prescribed to treat fibromyalgia as well as other pain conditions. technically,, it is an anti epileptic drug (AED) not an antipsychotic and not similar to one. so i would not worry about trying it so long as the doc prescribing it knows if you are on other meds/what they are.

hope you feel better
