I cheat...I just right-click on the emoticon I want, select "copy URL" and then paste it in my post, with the [IMG] [/IMG] before and after it....

LIKE THIS:

So JJ, where do you get these, and do you save them for later use?

I recognize that, curlydawg, from one I think BlueMajo showed us earlier. She seems to have bookmarked emoticons from all over the internet & that can be sent along just like a link in an email.

Here's one I picked up recently:

I'm working on collecting these (I send myself emails) & will see about getting a sticky thread. Also will ask about expanding the smilies box that's so easy to access now.

Any/all suggestions welcomed!

I like that idea...if we could email the emoticon somewhere and then it would majically appear in our smilies box

It's so cute! And feels so right! I can't really put it into words, but it seems to encapsulate astoundingly well a feeling-state I get in....

Okay, AFA topic goes:
I'm now trying posting a visitor msg to myself on my "homepage" here & making the msg to myself (I did that by mistake 1ce!) Then I can park emoticons there. That's pretty fast to access.
