Dear Bizi

Sorry if this is a dumb question... but doesn't Clinique make a remover for the foundation as well? Or a general cleanser/make-up remover? I'd think if your drug store or pharmacy didn't have one they might just have run out of stock - it seems strange... maybe ask at the pharmacy?

my former roommate used to have major acne (possibly rosacea but who knew then... she had to do cycles of antibiotics also, i do know that). I remember that she only EVER used Clinique products, make-up, make-up removers, tonic, any product that had to make contact with her face, it was Clinique.

i am so glad things are better though that you don't need bandages! My what an experience.:hug::hug:

I keep it in a bottle with a sponge dabber-top applicator. Wash it out every night. Got it in an art supply store. Replacement sponges aren't a lot so I use a new one every month or so.

yes. oil occasionally.

Hi,

I like food quality almond oil. It has an easier texture than olive oil.
But it is the same idea. I wish I had a cool sponge applicator.

I'm careful not to get the oil on my clothes so I use it at night (instead of on the way out to door to work for example.)
I don't poor out the almond oil. I cover the bottle with my hand and tilt the bottle upside down.
Coconut oil from the food section of the health food store works too (it is much cheaper to buy as an oil than as a lotion).
Coconut oil comes in a wide mouth jar. I can use a spoon to get to it.

thank you
I can probably get the almond oil at the health food store...I like that idea...I guess ponds cold cream would work too. I had not thought of that.
I think I am going to go to the gym tonight...need to get back there!

Bizi,

Enjoy your gym work out.
Ponds will probably work if has worked for you in the past.

I have to buy oils instead of creams or lotions because I am extremely sensitive (or allergic) to many artificial scents and ingredients.

I don't know what to use...have never used anything in the past besides acne products, phiso derm. Since feb I have been using the cereva for oily skin. My face is peeling pretty much now...makes it itchy and flakes come off. sorry gross again. the aczone is helping to heal my face. I wish the cerava worked on the make up. sorry I am whining.....

Dear Bizi

Maybe you could ask the pharmacist, or even call the dermatologist for a suggestion? I think Clinique removers, ponds, or almond oil sound like possibilities. i'd forgotten about Ponds myself - that's what i used to use. problem is, with an oily remover, you then need an astringent/remover for the oil... sigh. Witch hazel which i suggested before is not strong enough to draw out heavy oils like ponds. it might work with the almond oil, not sure.

But i'd ask a professional... :o

(((hugs)))

I will call the derm tomorrow.
my skin is all peeling and I need more antibiotics, I forgot and am almost out, they had samples for me. I have oil of olay moisturizer.....
did some cardio at the gym so that was great to do that...
I MISSED MY work outs!
That was a big deal for me...
thank you for your continued support.
