Hi waves

I was glad to respond to your post. I know how hard it can be to get out and do something you don't want to do. I hope you get your results, and the getting there and back goes OK. Let me know how it goes. I will be thinking of you. Give yourself a treat when you get home, just for going ahead and doing it. I do hope the results turn out OK. ginnie

hi. thanks everyone. the results will be fine. it's getting them that's the problem.

so here i am again. home alone. having coffee. parents just left. it's 11ish. i've been half awake since 8.15ish when they started discussing/bustling about on and off and arguing. didn't want to get up and get caught in the middle. seriously.

i'm dead tired. :( ended up going to bed just before 4. not managing to pull in the sleep schedule. i have NO idea how i'm going to get up and do a stress test (tomorrow!) sleep-deprived. i wonder if she will let me, if i tell her. maybe i shouldn't tell her, since being sleep deprived, is pretty "typical" for me. only i wouldn't go out and run sleep deprived, and that's really what i want the stress A-OK for, from the stress-test. crap.

i think i will finish this and another cup of coffee, then watch "Murder, She Wrote" if it's a good one, and then go out. and not do anything but the results. it's raining AND cold today, my nemesis in weather conditions. i just hope my dad doesn't get home before i leave and start asking (bugging) me about it. i dont' understand how he can think it is helpful. just lemme alone for petes sake already.

i am worried about their fussing over the expired id.

I hope your dad doesn't fuss with you either.
Does it take long to get another id?
thinking of you today and tomorrow's test.

i got the results. i took the wrong bus and ended up going the "scenic route" to the city. oops. but i got there.

then i went to get the calendar printed. they let me wait in line, asked me several times what i needed - i said print and bind. then, only when it was my turn, gal loads my doc in her computer and goes, "OH! Color! i can't print color! printer's out. tech will be in tomorrrow, come back tomorrow."
:Bang-Head:  :Bang-Head:  :Bang-Head:  :Bang-Head:
WELLLL, DUHHHH!!!! It's not like color is the innovation of the minute! their dang name is "COLOR COPIES" fer cryin out loud. if your stupid printer is out, filter incoming customers accordingly don't waste everyone's time and cram your sauna-like itty bitty shop with ppl you can't serve! i might look for another place.

well, at that point it was the beginning of rush hour. i went into a bar and waited it out over a couple beers that i technically shouldn't afford.

i wanted the alcohol and it was a more interesting proposition than lorazepam. they served my beer with chips, pisachios, bread crisps, and olives... very nice considering their modest price! :( but i've had mild headaches past 2 days.. could be the (lack of) sleep or pre-migraine. if the latter, alcohol is a bad idea, especially fermented drinks. seems almost like i am half inviting a migraine for tomorrow. :o

but the drink-now impulse was stronger than my caring about the consequences.

Re: the printer

sorry you got to the shop for the color printer, only they were not in operating condition. Loved the sign you put in about beating your head against a wall. It is like that during the holidays. did you get out to get your test results? Hope you did and that it turned out OK. I went Shopping this morning and I could not believe the traffic out. I hate to drive because of my cervial mess, but once in awhile I have to. Parking was a disaster, and people are lost in space at the stores. It's kinda funny watching all these Holiday shoppers lost in wonderland. I had a bunch of good coupons for Bed Bath and beyond. Saved some good money on a few nice gifts. I bought a candle melt for myself, and the house smells like mistle toe. I hope you are doing OK today, and that home is not stressful. ginnie:santa:

left of head pounding + photo/phonosensitive = Migraine

Ginnie...

i got the results before doing anything else. that was the 'mission.' they look good. there is a note reporting some rare events but i think that is within the norm.... if they weren't rare would not be normal.

i hated being out and about in the middle of people. but talk about wonderland, that's how i see Bed Bath & Beyond - i am glad you had coupons for it, i am sure your gift recipients will be delighted.

------------

i officially have a migraine.

i forgot to transcribe my bp chart... it is all scribbled on postits.

since i have to sit up for at least a half hour (i just took a mean pill for my head and it will give me heartburn if i lie down) i guess i can go transcribe those now, instead of morning.

alarm is set for 6.45. it's possible the migraine will be gone. but it's basically migraine time in the month just about so ... no idea. i will drink lots too while i am up, and if i still have the headache in the morning i will decide whether to medicate with breakfast and bite the bullet.

mom will go with after all if i am ok enough. she has gone to sleep so at least she can help get me up and take it from there.

i did not dare tell her about the beers. it might have happened even without the beers. i'll never know, but i still feel really ashamed about not fighting that impulse harder. the drinking impulse per se might be a mood indicator - need to tell pdoc.

i can't see pdoc this week because the transportation strike has been confirmed for the day of our appointment. :(

~ waves ~ off to transcribe bp readings...

good waves

[glad your results are ok. Don't beat yourself up over the beers. I do it now and then too. Becareful of your stomach with medication. I had heartburn for years, and even though I was treated for it I developed a serious condition called barretts esophogus. I couldn't control the heartburn, and my former dr. wasn't on top of it. The medications we take can really cause trouble as I learned the hard way.
Have a good night. Hope you don't get the headache. ginnie:santa:
