Ginnie and Bizi,

thanks for the kind words. i will try to forgive myself for the beers.

Ginnie, don't worry i am very careful now with the meds. sorry that you ended up with barrett's esophagus. :( if i wake up with the migraine still, that means i will probably have them a few days. in that case i will take a PPI to prevent complications from the NSAID.

Bizi, after this stupid test, i can stay up late again, so, if i don't have horrible migraines, i can chat with you in the evening (my wee hours). ;)

--------
the ibuprofen has not completely nixed the pain but i do feel much better. AND i got my bp chart transcribed. :)

i have been drinking water meanwhile to try to wash any pill residue down before bed, and made myself a ricola instant brew (thought that would help soothe m' poor gullet)

hitting the pillow now. i feel tuckered enough even though not sleepy. the headache took a bite out of me.

i will check in tomorrow. thanks again for posting to me both of you
 :grouphug:

Waves

I think the beers were needed so just let them go!!!

Its necessary sometimes, to do something we don't want.

For me its to eat candy, and I shouldn't be eating as much.
With my diabetis.

But regressing, as usual. Just good luck with your test, and your
appointment tomorrow.

Bizi, we are here. Just know that.

Re: thinking of you

It is tuesday, and you have tests. I was able to go to a deserted part of a beach near where I live. I had an hour there with nobody around but me and God. I was thinking of you. Hope that stress test goes OK and that you were awake enough to do it. I know you suffer from migrains. My good neighbor does as well, so I do understand what you go though. Hope you will be back on line soon to let us know how it went. ginnie

Re:boo headache

Hey waves, sorry you got that darn headache. I know you hate to post pone the test. My neighbor Lori who also suffers from those is bed ridden when it happens. Light, sound, just about anything makes it worse. Sorry you have that to deal with. Hope it goes away quickly so you can go go go again. ginnie

Hi,

the migraine seems to have remitted now. i slept a lot, day and night (best cure). i had only twinges of headache today and no nausea, but i was still pretty photosensitive. i am ok now. usually, i get them in 3's (left, right, left) and then often a *nasty* bilateral at the very end. so, this may be a good month -- OR -- this may just be a "break" -- OR -- maybe the beers triggered this. well i hope i am done with them for a few weeks.

part of me hated to postpone the stress test. another part of me really didn't want to do it right now, because i was badly sleep deprived and even in the best of scenarios, one night wasn't going to fix it.

so in a way, it worked out. kinda wonder if subconsciously that augmented my impulse to go for those beers.

Hi waves

My guess is that your body is telling you to rest. You were sleep deprived when your headache came about. That test would have made it ten times worse. Get your sleep. Feel good before you do it, then it will go better. Sometimes I have a beer or glass of wine, not frequent but it does help me to relax and get a good nights sleep. take care of yourself, rest, heal, and be peaceful. ginnie:santa:
