I contacted each of the manufactorers of the medications and got them to send me paperwork for people with low or no income and no insurance. It took about 2 months after filling out the paperwork but he recieved his medication every month for a year for free through the mail. I know that most of the major companies offer such programs please check into the company that manufactor the medication. Call them, explain to them that you HAVE to have this medication and you dont have insurance. Talk to your docotrs office, sometimes they have samples they can give you until the papers are processed. I also found some discount "coupons" from the pharmacy at CVS that took one of his meds from 135 to 32. Sorry you are going through this and I hope you get some anwers and your medications soon.

i am sorry about your husband's heart attack but so glad the medications worked out. I have a bit of a problem because i have insurance but still some of the drugs cost like thirty dollars a month or the klonopin for instance costs 59 and the risperdal i forgot how much it costs. i am on eight medications.
some companies won't give you free drugs for instance wellbutrin if you have insurance.

I hope they will be good to you and allow you to receive the med. you need. I know you are depressed, and I do know that feeling. I am thinking about you, and hoping for the best resolution. the pharmacy companies should be ashamed of themselves for putting people into such horrible situtions financially. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ginnie

thank you so much Ginnie. I am so glad it worked for you. thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

It is a racquet.
I am sorry that you are having to go thru this...it will be worth your effort once you are settled.

Stressors are hard on you. So go one day at a time, get through the
first, so you can get to the second. You can do this.

Keeping you in thoughts. Please let us know when you need some extra
ones.

Hi bizi

The cost of meds. you talked about is even worse for some. I kid you not, I rode to Canada, and people where having to choose between their homes and their medications. This same issue broke my bank too. This is not fair of our country to do to those least able to help themselves because they sick. I heard about more cuts to the medical industry, medicare/medicaid. Now just why is it those guys saleries are so high? take care dear woman, and you and your family are still in my prayers. ginnie

Dear Bobby,

I am sad for you that Ralph will be away. Sometimes, the universe sends somone else to take his place. With him gone, you can think about different things / people / projects. I wish him well while he is gone from the lunch group.

I wish you could some relief from the anxiety and depression.

thanks for the reminder Bizi...i usually bombard myself with everything at once. last night i started thinking of my dead cat Yuki and how wonderful she was. then this morning i got the nerve to go on the scale and i gained four pounds. it is so hard to think of just one thing at a time.
