here the Magnolia Trees are starting to blossom. Some are already in bloom.

We get mostly pink and white ones like these. in one of the towns my bus goes through, between my home and the city, there is also a Star Magnolia, which has white flowers shaped like a star - petals are narrow and pointed. very pretty.

I've been on vacation so have posted very little.

But I was married 31 years ago on the first day of spring. It alternates
every year.

Default Steve and Donna

Thanks Steve!

I am glad you like it! I get to see magnolias just like that, on the way out and on the way home these days, from the bus. usually in front of houses, not in parks, but still very pretty.

Dear Donna

May i be nosy? ... Do you and hubby celebrate your anniversary on the same date every year, or do you shift it with the Spring date?

Arrow EU springs forward tonight!

***** TO EVERYONE *****

The European Union time change is tonight!

I.e. i will be "springing forward" finally. For those of you in the US, that means that as of tomorrow the time difference between me and you will be back to normal. (for the past 2 weeks we have been one hour "closer together" LOL.)

We technically celebrate when we have time.

Heehee, this year it will be tomorrow. I was gone all week.

It was on The 21st of May. And I was with Derrick in Indy.

So we celebrate tomorrow.

But we call the 21st our anniversary.

Thanks, The really neat thing is that:

two of my sisters were married in a double wedding in August I think
on the 30th in 80 of the summer before so this coming summer it
will be 32 years for them.

And then next year it will be 32 for us following along.

We were married in the same church, by the same minister.

The really neat thing is he just returned to this church in retirement.

And is their lay minister helping the senior minister.
