but i am feeling better than ok.... NO HEADACHE! :):yahoo::Dancing-Chilli::trampoline::)

thanks for asking. (((hugs)))

Monday late night report...

well the right side didn't get bad at all ... it usually evolves right into bilateral... i did have twinges happening on both sides but overall feel better.

slept all day, in naps.. kept waking up... was very alert for some reason, yet tired. it wasn't noise - i turned down the landline phontes, texted mom to call dads cell if need be and that i was sleeping. i put earplugs in... but... still.

i'm still friggin tired. going to bed nowish. i'm hungry again too. sigh. cerealtime perhaps. very perhaps. i can't see straight.

i'm so tired. my eyelids are going to fall off if i don't shut them.

nie nite everyone. :grouphug:

~ waves ~ and another round over i hope.. whew.

Hi there and thanks for posting to me.

sorry you have migraines also. i know that i am lucky gabapentin helps me. it doesn't help many people. no worries i normally only take 1200 a day in divided doses and tolerate it without side effects.

i can no longer take nsaids at the moment. i used to take ibuprofen. in turn let me offer a warning... always take it with food and don't lie down for at least an hour after you take it. i was fine for years and now am on a special diet because of heartburn etc - damage from years of NSAID use (ibuprofen, indomethacin etc) - precisely for migraine treatment.

i have used gabapentin before for prevention at times when i am getting migraines 20-15 days a month. with that frequency, a preventive is required as one cannot use NSAIDS or any analgesic - some cause rebound, others addiction, etc.

i take 1200 mg a day of gabapentin in divided doses and have only 3-5 days of migraine, and gradually even less. btw, in order to work, it doses must be equal and fairly equally spaced.

for breakthrough episodes, i will be taking other meds (not extra gabapentin like this last time), from now on.

thanks again for posting - i appreciate the concern - and welcome to the forum. :)

Awww waves, I am so sorry you're still suffering that level of migraine attacks per month! That stinks! I feel for you, I had one this week that left me down for three days, the first day was real bad, then the following two days I was zapped for energy and had such a sensitivity leftover in place of where the pain had been I just laid in bed and on the sofa. I feel much better today, and yesterday. I really HOPE you find something that works for you soon. Migraines are so bad....

like sh......

:( sorry.

love you too, thanks for asking.

not migraines. the gpn works for that. in fact i've even reduced it. i probably cant stay on it.

i'm just depressed as all heck. tg i found a place online to draw and look at drawy stuff. that's why i do.

sleeping 10-12 hours a night and NEEDING it.
fatigue is better if i get that amount of sleep.
my bp has dropped i'm running 105/70 regularly sometimes in the 90's/60's range. diastolic almost always good though. i feel almost-hungover tired. and sometimes nauseous. was when it was lowest. so i've been measuring it when i feel ok physically too, just to see.

funy thing. i do not feel cold extremities. extremities are warm. it has been warming up but not that much, we've had some rain and cooler air.

partly why i'm slowly unplugging the gpn. one variable at a time.

i dragged myself (since i managed to sleep an evening + all night) to redraw labs for thyroid yesterday. should be ready before next pdoc visit on 12, and neuro visit on 14. neuro visit will be massacre so far away.

so tired. soooo friggin tired.

coffee here i come.

i wish ppl would stop stealing the bathroom.
