Red face

I need to find some hobbies...jeff and I need to find something to do together that doesn't include drinking. my new friend said she was sad to lose her drinking buddy....so I won't be going to the wine and cheese tasting like I have been with her tonight. We are going to listen to some zydeco music at the downtown live concert, I can get by with out drinking,
(I have associated drinking with listening to music at concerts bars etc.)
there will be a "via la waffle" food truck there sandwiches made with waffles, very good but not really diet food though., want to go to the gym sometime tomorrow. The weather is cooler in the evenings and jeff and I have been taking walks around the neighborhood. I am a very oral person so need to switch to drinking tea or something else during movies that we watch at home. I think I told you that I am trying to diet and not drink calories...I don't want to use artificial sweeteners and don't like the taste of stevia. If I remember right red zinger tea is very good by itself, must get some.

(((((Bizi)))) ...

You're having a lot of a-ha moments ... you've been here before and you're working hard at making this time different.

Be gentle on yourself.

Hey Bizi Soon after I stopped drinking alcoholic beverages,I started drinking Qui-bell sparkling water, and Perrier sparkling water. After a while,I stopped drinking them. Maybe some sparkling water can help while looking at movies. BF

Dear Steve,

I used to drink more sparkling water than I do now. For years, Perrier was my favorite when I could afford it.

Now sometime I buy sparkling water for a treat.

Red face

today I am going to pamper myself to a little spa day.
Getting a pedicure and a hair cut...with a little magazine reading time in between services, I feel like it is such a luxury to read a glamour magazine, have never bought one before but love looking at all the beautiful people.
jeff and I are going to get a sandwich for lunch at our favorite chris's po-boys, we split this wonderful sandwich that has roast beef and ham and swiss cheese and drippings, it is messy and wonderful!, maybe have a little gumbo too. sipping a cup of black coffee because we are out of french vanilla creamer which jeff has run to go get some as a fresh pot brews. My rosacea had broke out about 2 weeks ago on my right side of my nose and started to spread to my cheek, I started taking antibiotics and using the domeboro soaks like before and stopped its progression so am happy about that.
Went to the concert last night with some friends Horace trahan, a zydeco band. Had a waffle sandwich which was excellent and did not miss the beer that was everywhere.
I don't think I can diet and not drink at the same time right now.

Bizi

There are other ways to diet. You can just watch what you eat in
other ways. And do your exercising and you will be watching your
diet in a different way.

I'm really proud of you taking steps one day at a time.

Hi Bizi The two would be to much. To stop drinking is a major biggie. You will probably notice a sweet tooth will develop. After I stopped drinking,I started eating more sweets. My dad said he did the same thing. I believe that I have heard others say the same thing. Don't be surprised if you take several spoon fulls of sugar in your coffee. BF
