http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/pi...pictureid=7318 This is one I did for SIDS awareness: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/pi...pictureid=7319 ANd a fun hibiscus one! http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/pi...pictureid=7320 |
Thanks Pam
It really brightened my day. I really wish I could leave my nails alone. I then have chipping nails and none. Ugh. I was doing so well to. But I am working on it too. I take the stuff you suggested, but I had to go off a while. Restarting soon. Donna:hug::grouphug: |
I am glad to have had a positive impact on your day Donna! :) It takes awhile, and you have to take biotin consistently or it will stop working. I got sick and also when I had that dental surgery I stopped taking it, just basically forgot, and that is why my index fingernail broke last night I am sure of it. Because of how low the break was. Anyway, it does take time and effort, but for me it's a coping mechanism. I hope you like this one too Donna!

Pam,
Your work looks great! Mari |
Thank you! :) I really am glad to be stamping again, I was missing it. It's really not too bad on time once you've got it figured out as to how to get the images to transfer from the image plate, to the stamper, then from the stamper to your nails. I find it's about a twenty minute process. :)

Some beauties there Pam
I just loooove looking in on this thread...
sorry about the broken nail... they'll grow. i know what you mean about the vits. i have to keep my nails real short for guitar, but they are usually pretty strong - my b-complex has pretty hefty biotin content. recently i went several weeks of missing my vits more than taking them, and soon enough, my nails started splitting every which way! i'm trying to be better about taking them now... i take the vits to compensate dietary weaknesses and med depletions, so they are important. in a way, it is good that my nails "remind me" that i am screwing up! :o;) LOL. curious... how much biotin do you take, Pam? my B-complex has 150mcg. all of your manicures are great, Pam. I think it's so cool you did one for SIDS awareness. Of those you recently posted, my fav's are the leopard print (OH YEAHHH!!! :D:D) and the hibiscus - simply delightful! :) btw, i loved the roses also... they looked familiar? i wonder if you posted them last year or if perhaps there was a similar do. anyway, that sure was pretty. * Thank you Pammie * ... for sharing your passion and decorating our little forum with your beautiful art! :) :You-Rock: ~ waves ~ |
I might have, posted them last year I mean. Not sure. I am so happy you and the others enjoy my nail art. It's my one hobby that I can enjoy without too much trouble. I really have trouble when it comes to doing other's nails though. In my 20's when I did it for a living for a brief while, it was so hard. I was so slow, and the fumes from it and the hair services were overwhelming. I just couldn't handle it. :p
Anyway, my biotin intake used to be the 5,000 mcg of it, but I read we only use or need 350 mcg of biotin a day so I dropped down to the 1,000 mcg which I still take once a day. :D So happy you posted waves. :D This is my passion all right, I love the color therapy aspect. :D If I am feeling a little funky I can dress up my nails and leopard print them. Or if I am feeling more laid back and romantic I can do red roses on them. It's all a matter of whatever I feel at any given moment. :D |
PAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my Gosh, YOU ARE AMAZING !!!!!!!!!! I love nail art !!!! I have enjoyed looking your nails A LOT !!! |
