Pam

I have to tell you, That seeing the pictures of your nails cheer me up.

And they are encouraging me to leave mine alone again. So keep up
the work, and I will keep up working to leave mine alone.

Also the other thing is. I also understand the need to take a nap.

I need one too many days. So I just say, yes its a need for me.

So I have decided that I might as well take it and enjoy it. Then use
it as a endulgence that I enjoy.

that is a beautiful print! I love the blue on silver/silvery blue too! Cobalt blue is definitely cheery to me, also! :):)

Wow you are going through a long haul of a healing process... it is no wonder that you feel low energy. IMHO your body is using a lot of energy for that. Sleep is essential to healing - and that may be why you are needing these naps. I think your body is just asking for what it needs... perhaps try to go with the flow? I hope it helps to know that this extra rest is not pathological - to the contrary, it is the healthiest thing for you right now. ;)

Do you take a zinc supplement? If not, it might help to take an extra 15mg or so during this time.

It is important to get enough Zinc right now as it helps with wound healing and also with stress. If you are eating less meat and than before due to the mouth situation, and don't eat many legumes (beans of various types) you could even take 30mg. Don't take more than 30mg or you could upset your copper balance which would be bad.

Vitamin E, C and B complex complement Zinc, i.e. they allow your body to use it, so you also need to get enough of those things from your diet - or supplements.

hang in there. i am glad doing your nails helps. :) I love seeing your nails... but I am also happy to have YOU here with us.

Thank you waves, I am so glad sharing my manicures brings you & our other lovely ladies here some cheer as it does for me. I am still eating meat and beans and taking vitamins, so no worries. We got a cuisinart food processor before my surgery and it's helped SO MUCH. So I am eating okay, I just think it's my body begging me for more rest, so I am going with it and resting when tired. Thank you for caring. :heartthrob:

Thank you Donna, that's just how I see it too, that I might as well take the nap and enjoy it. best of luck with your nails! I know it's hard, but once you get a decent length and they are stronger it's easier to maintain them. :)

Here's my current manicure:

I am really loving this Fergie (A wet n wild polish) polish called Make the boys Loco. It's so glittery! Amazing in person! My mother has it on too, that's how I got the urge to hunt it down and put it on myself today. We got together yesterday and I saw it on her, so we're manicure twins! We've got the same polish on! :D Talk about fun, very uplifting. I am so glad to have her to share this hobby with now. :)
