Yes they do, I look down and feel pretty, because I really don't feel pretty like I used to over the teeth being gone. The mouth is okay, I feel better, it's still healing, but it is definitely getting better. I am getting ready to do my next manicure, this one I did with the leopard print lasted six days! I am really impressed. :)

Thank you Mari, it's true, I know it is, it's just hard still. I was sitting and dinner and had a wave of depression washing over me. I went and lay in bed after dinner for like 2 solid hours. It stinks. I already slept two hours earlier today after I did my nails. I just have ZERO energy anymore. It's depressing. I don't remember always feeling like this. So hoping it gets better soon. Anyway, here's the results of my efforts today, more baby and cobolt blues! Hooray! They cheer me up. :D

Please don't be hard on yourself for needing a nap...sometimes we just have to lie down. I am sorry for your depression. love the nails!

Thank you for the kind words, I am too hard on myself at times I think. I really want to get more done but it's not easy when my eyes start closing and I feel the bed and my pillow calling me. Glad you liked the pictures! :) ♥

that is a beautiful print! I love the blue on silver/silvery blue too! Cobalt blue is definitely cheery to me, also! :):) Wow you are going through a long haul of a healing process... it is no wonder that you feel low energy. IMHO your body is using a lot of energy for that. Sleep is essential to healing - and that may be why you are needing these naps. I think your body is just asking for what it needs... perhaps try to go with the flow? I hope it helps to know that this extra rest is not pathological - to the contrary, it is the healthiest thing for you right now. ;) Do you take a zinc supplement? If not, it might help to take an extra 15mg or so during this time. It is important to get enough Zinc right now as it helps with wound healing and also with stress. If you are eating less meat and than before due to the mouth situation, and don't eat many legumes (beans of various types) you could even take 30mg. Don't take more than 30mg or you could upset your copper balance which would be bad. Vitamin E, C and B complex complement Zinc, i.e. they allow your body to use it, so you also need to get enough of those things from your diet - or supplements. hang in there. i am glad doing your nails helps. :):Heart: I love seeing your nails... but I am also happy to have YOU here with us. :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: ~ waves ~ |
