I think the giving of pain medication is a relief for you as much as helping
his pain. I am so glad that they could do this.

I remember when my dad was so sick and dying that was what we had to
be so happy about. That he wasn't in pain.

I just read about your Dad passing I am so sorry for your loss. Your brother or BIL is a wise person. Dad really loved you to pursue looking for a fix for your health. As a parent, we would do anything to take away our child's pain or illnesses.
Now Dad will be with you a special way able to be with you in a healthy way. I miss my Dad but talk to him often and feel him with me.
