Brain and Waves

My husband will be accompanying me. And I'm working on someone else.

Have to wait till I can talk to my husband about that. He is at this time with my mom-in-law. She should be in or out of surgery for her good hip. She fell last night. I don't know how much more we need right now.

I am also working on figuring out someone to go with Derrick to his doctor's appt. Its his neuro and it can't just be rescheduled.

So lots on the plate. I'm handling it okay. Just one day at a time.

Donna

Waves

Not sure if these will answer some of your questions.

I can't make heads or tails to much of them. yet.

Right breast stereo core biopsies with the following findings:

virtually every core of breast tissue demonstrates numerous
Ductal units involved by in-situ ductal carcinoma with solid.

Comedo and papillary patterns. (extensive Intraductal. Component)
Associated with coarse intraductal calcifications
Several foci of atypical ductal hyperplasia
There is one focaus highly suspicious for stromal microinvasion

"In situ" Donna.... THAT IS GREAT. The surgeon will be able to remove it easier....

Donna, I saw your post on FB and wanted to leave you a message here too....

EVERYTHING is going to be fine. We are going to be here behind you, praying and cheering you up....

We are gonna fight together against this and we are going to win this battle.

We love you.

Keep us posted.

P.S Stromal microinvasion means those ba s tar ds cells want to move, but you will get treated BEFORE that happens. You will be fine. Im sure.

Ductal Carcinoma In Situ isn’t life-threatening.

FACT.

You will be fine.

Heart Donna ... yes those were the things i wondered about

Dear Donna,

thanks for posting that. It answered a lot of questions even though it would have been hard for me to interpret without a bit of research.

Majo on the other hand is already well-versed in these things....
Pity you can't bring Majo to your appointment Donna...
really sorry you have so SOOO much going on... in the whole family. talk about when it rains.

(((( hugs ))))

Heart Majo - thank you for interpreting for us all

Dear Majo

Bless your heart for posting all that you did.
That was so helpful and also reassuring.
It really is too bad you cannot be with Donna at her appointment.
But it is great that you can be here to help her....
... and to help us understand things.

Thank You.

Thanks Mayo

I had read some on in-sito or whatever it is. And gotten that it might
be a good kind to have. But not sure. But the other was what I
wasn't sure of. And of course I haven't been so sure as to what to
think about the fact that this is my good side. And its been my
other side we have been watching for years.

I keep reading something about estergen and hormones. And never
got that part. Donna

Donna,
i am so sorry with all on your plate that now you get a helping of a scary health issue.
Blue is our go to person on the big C cells spending so much time looking and researching them. If your going to receive a diagnosis this is the type of diag, you would rather hear.

Some controversy mis-state It is not a cancer. From what I knew from a family member it can be addressed if you must face it and not a challenge that is bleak.

Blue, you would know if they look for estrogen/progestrone receptors to see which treatment it will be?

I am glad Blue has the knowledge to inform and reassure you as you travel this journey. My hugs and prayers are with you dear friend.
Di
