wondering how you are
Hi Mari,
You've been on my mind. How are you doing these days? What is going on with the Lamictal?:hug::hug: waves |
Waves,
It is good to see you. Lamictal: still at 25. I think I am to move it move it to 50 August 2 but might do 25 plus half of 25 for one or two nights, esp because I want to have an extra pill or two in reserve. I went for the blood draw on Monday. Pdoc will have results before I see him on Tuesday, August 6. Dreaming now because of the Lamictal. Odd stuff. Depression: sill here and seems somewhat correlated to sleep. Overslept Tuesday and missed appt with the sleep doc an hour+ away. I was awaked at 1:00 and might have almost made it on a good day but could not get there at 2:00 because I needed to mapquest and pack machine and somehow wake up enough to figure out how to wake up to drive. . . . felt hungover for a couple of hours. stuff
Hi Mari,
It's good to see you too. :) I'm sorry to hear you are still having a rough time, though.:hug::hug: Ooky dreams, on top of the regular sleep issues, now! :( Ack! Fwiw, when I get vivid dreams (or even lucid ones) d/t med changes, it is usually a transitory thing. Here's hoping your dreams settle back down, fast! :o I am sorry about the sleep doc appointment but I am glad you were safe about the driving. I hope you can reschedule without too much trouble. I really hope the Lamictal does something helpful for you soon. You deserve to be rewarded for being so patient in this process. :Tip-Hat: waves |
Thank you brain and other organs.
Friday night I increased the Lamictal dose to 25 plus one half of a 25 pill.
Thursday I saw my acupuncturist (last time was two yrs ago). She reminded me of her daily practice of thanking her organs and sending them a smiling face a bit like this: http://i419.photobucket.com/albums/p...psfd1311cb.jpg She told me to put my hand on my head, picture my brain with a big smile, and tell it "I love you." Then to do that with the next organs. Mari |
this sounds very centering which is a good thing!

Depressed. Klonopin has been causing me stress.
Quote:
25 plus one half of 25. Tonight (Sunday) I should take 50 mgs Lamictal. In a few days (Tuesday) I report to the pdoc. He will have my blood work. I requested that pdoc's office release the blood work to mdoc. Mdoc showed it to me on Friday: The lab flagged two things: ~low HDL cholesterol ~high RDW (Red Cell Distribution) -- I have no idea what this will mean to the pdoc. ========== I am extraordinarily depressed. I am tired too. Mostly depressed. And I hate having to take Klonopin by color. I twice screwed up taking the night (2.0) and day klonopin (0.5) by taking 2.0 as my morning dose.. What a mess. !! EVEN with two color coded signs taped to the the wall to remind me that White = 2.0 / Yellow = 0.5 and the message on the white board saying the same thing, I almost messed up again today but spit out the white pill before I swallowed it. From now on I will only take the Klonopin at night. Eventually that bottle will be done and I can go back to the 1.0 mgs green pills that I had for 20 or more years. I cannot learn anything new!!!!!!! Mari |
Awwww
want to leave you some hugs, Mari.:hug::hug: sorry you are having such a hard time. :( waves |
I am glad that you caught your error. sorry this is so hard, soon it will be back to normal in that regard.
 bizi |
Bizi,
It is not an error. I am double and triple checking each time I swallow a pill and still I screw it up. In addition to color coded signs on my wall, I have a pictures on my phone to follow. Dosing is hard. The pills are the same shape and size except that one is white and one is yellow. That is a stupid way to design the meds. Mari |
