Hi, Everyone, :)

It is not as hot here as it is in other parts of the country
:rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain:
We are getting record breaking amounts of rain.
(It seems that each day is another record breaker.)

Hi, Steve, :)

I remember trying to sleep at night when the temp was 80 degrees and we had no a/c. I used to try to keep a home made ice pack near my head.

Full moon July 22, 2013

Hi,

The moon is gorgeous right now.

In North America, we often call the July full moon the Buck Moon, Thunder Moon or Hay Moon.
At this time of year, buck deer grow velvety antlers, thunderstorms rage, and farmers struggle to put hay into their barns.

The rain is really hitting well soaked areas. I am glad the west had finally had rain for the most recent fire.

It was only 60* today at noon, didn't hit 70* in the mountain so far. Tonight back down to 50*'s.

Huge difference from 2 weeks over 90*.

We had a nice breezy day. I think in the high 70's low 80's. But we loved it.

I had my VNG. And Derrick visited with a friend. And had a great time.

Then we all went to lunch. To come out to a very flat tire. Then we went to find some fix a flat and took the car. To get the tires aired up.

But I'm going to have to get two new tires real soon. Not that I can afford
them. But oh well, just life. And another bill.

Dear Di,

That is a big fall in temperature! We do not get them often here.

Lots of hugs.

August Full Moon

On the US East coast we see the full moon: Tuesday, the 20th of August 2013
21:44 or 9:45 P.M -- depending on how one does time.

Some people apparently pay attention to the New Moon (two weeks from now) because it signifies beginnings/ re-awakenings. That was fine for Monday/yesterday.

Waning moons can signify letting go, surrender, release, quiet time, contemplation, and a time of incubation.

Instead of going to bed, I looked up my birth and learned that I was born under a waning moon.

Mari Cool. It's suppose to stop raining here later today. It's been raining, and raining, and raining here. The clouds should go away, and we might be able to see the moon tonight. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Night-time here

I see a big, beautiful, perfectly round, glowing white moon outside! :)

I guess "perfectly round" might not be accurate ... for another 6 hours or so, but I think it might be on the other side of the building by then. It will be 3.44 am my time, but I think I will still be awake, so I will check the view periodically. :)
