Cats on a hot day
|
They are smart little one's in their realm. Their purr is so soothing. When they are about to be fed,I think it's cute how they rub their chin along the side of most anything. Sometimes they rub the front tooth, then chin on most anything when they are feeling well, and are about to be fed. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Looks like my house, but in front of the Portable AC. I kept the drapes drawn and stayed in all day. We were in Niagara Falls area with my dh daughter a few days, I thought that it old be cooler there but it wasn't. Heat index felt like 102*, it was 95* earlier. So hot one of the mall local bridges lost asphalt off and we have a huge detour on the rural roads.
Sunday will be down to 82* after the storms. Keep cool all. |
that is hot!

# 11 is a good idea but I have not tried it --- probably need a baseball hat. My mother did not use her oven at all in the summer. She still rarely uses it until the weather cools or every one gets used to the weather sometime in Sept. When I had a car with no a/c, I ran the garden hose over it for ten minutes to cool it a few degrees before I got in it. Mari |
Hi all we are still in the 90's here in Indiana. We are in the index of the 100's too I believe. I'm staying in as much as possible.
I am drinking as much water as my body will hold. So as to stay hydrated. Donna :grouphug: |
I drove by a local church and the sign said it was 104 degrees. Way too hot!!!!! I'm home in the a/c now feels better but RSD doesn't like the cold so I'm under blankets....yes, blankets....a down filled and a double fleece.
Can't win for losing.... Hugs to all, please stay cool!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya's. Abbie |
96* today in the mountains, so glad I did not work today. I went to the farm for veggies and it was overwhelming.
Mari, I have hats and neck bands you soak in cold water for 20 minutes, they swell up with beads staying cold. You just have to wet to activate again. When they dry, they are flat the beads are tiny. I got them last summer when we went to Fl during June. The humidity really makes the asthma bad. Abbie, I have the RSD and Fybromyalgia and too cold kills me. The AC. Is set at 77*. It's been days since we had rain, my flowers are watered but still wilting.Keep cool all, hope we get the break they promise this weekend. Di |
