Thunder woke me up
 

I was awakened by thunder.

We had thunderstorms between 3,and 5 AM. They were very powerful. There was a lightning strike somewhere near by. I was praying about the situation. BF:hug::hug::hug:

no electricity at the mall due to thunderstorms
 

I was at the mall on the second floor getting my hair done when the afternoon thunderstorms knocked out the electricity :eek:

After a few minutes, the generator kicked in with a little / enough power so that my guy could see to enough to finish cutting.

BUT the registers did not work and the young women at the front wanted me to stay so I could pay!!!
Fat chance. :rolleyes:

We got word that the parking lot and nearby streets were flooded so I was not in a hurry to leave.
I waited 20 mins when the registers came back on. :cool:

We had another strong thunderstorm system come through with allot of thunder,and lightning between 5,and 7 PM. I watched Nightly News on my little portable digital TV,because my Sat. TV lost signals. I heard that there where twisted trees in my county after the thunderstorms on my scanner. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Somebody tell me to go to sleep!!!
 

We have a wicked thunderstorm.

Hubby is going to work even though I told him he should stay home.

We lost electricity once and then it came back.

I think I will un plug my computer.

we had a thunderstorm this evening we needed the rain...at my folks house. this computer doesn't have all of the keys so am just struswted my memory

I went to the capital city of my state,and had a dental appointment. I had a good checkup. No problems.

On the Interstate on the way home,there was a powerful thunderstorm. There was lightning,ran,and hail. I pulled off the interstate till I could see the road.

Then when I got to a Wal-Mart to shop,there was another thunderstorm. I could hear the thunderstorm in the Wal-Mart. When I went to the car,it had stopped raining. Then I headed home,and drove into another powerful thunderstorm with heavy rain. I pulled over until I could see in front of my car again. I gassed the car up,and drove home. I got the groceries into the house and another powerful thunderstorm went over with lots of lightning. Four storms with black clouds:eek:,and lots of lightning.

I looked at Nightly News on a small battery powered Auvio TV. Wow!!!

I am glad that you pulled over when the storms hit when you were driving.

You are a brave and intrepid traveler, Steve, even with pulling over!
I would have been tempted to pull into a motel!
Glad you weathered all those storms okay. How are your nerves?
