Thumbs up Hubby tense & annoying as heck. Then calm and at peace and easy to deal with.
GAH!!! Hubby was having a rough time and so wound up.

Today he is doing better ---- after two or three evenings in a row of my talking to him.

(We kind of reached a break-through.)


Good news at work: I am making progress on a work project that actually counts (not total b.s. like most).
That means more meetings in my future.

I swam in the pool at the gym for 30 minutes!

Cool eye glasses.
Thanks, Ladies,

At home I practiced using the combination lock I bought two weeks ago.

I realized I would not be able to open it without my glasses on!

So I decided to get in the car anyway.

At the pool I swam with my glasses on.
(I love them because they are Adidas and comfortable and shaped a little to stay on the head.)

I mostly swam the backstroke (glasses somewhat secure this way)
and then did Pilates and physical therapy-type moves in the deep water.

Arrow My Mom is a baseball fan.
Mom is only willing to talk about certain topics.
One of them is baseball. She is a lifelong baseball fanatic.

So I watched the first half of the first inning of the World Series in order
call her and Dad.
I told her I like The KC Royals because they have not been to the World Series lately.

Mom hates the Giants -- because she remembers them when they were in NY.

(Thank goodness I made a 50/50 guess and chose the KC Royals.)
Then she and I talked about some of the plays in that first half.

Dad got on the phone too. He was impressed because "Not
many women like baseball."

I guess I will read about the rest of the game online and
watch an inning or two Wednesday as well.
