Thanks, Mari.
I was up at sunrise this morning. Most anticlimactic, that was. I watched and waited as the deep grey sky very slowly, and only very slightly, lightened to reveal a monochromatic world. There has to be an invisible sun.... I guess. Ain't no visible one around here for sure. I am not usually subject to seasonal depression, but I think part of my sadness this time may have to do with the sudden seasonal change I went through. After five weeks of blue skies and sunshine, I was plunged directly into perpetual drabness. I missed the transtion. I missed that pretty part of fall, when the trees come alive with color against foreboding skies that warn of winter, and finally create a fiery carpet of leaves that dance in the wind and crackle mischievously under one's feet. All of that is gone, leaving only a shadow world of naked trees shrouded in gloom. But finally, Winter is here. I guess I have to hold out for the Wonderland. waves |

Officially winter starts at the solstice but the weather is not all clear. There are clear days in winter, and they can be pretty, especially if it snows.
Today is lighter. The sky is a pale bluish grey. Better than before. I had a panic attack last night and have not recovered. My mother is sick and my father doesn't know what to do with himself. |

Lighter and better is better. That is good. ![]() ![]() ![]() Yikes about the panic attack. I am sorry about that. How can one recover from a panic attack? Time and distance? Low stimuli? I hope that your mother gets better. And hope that your father is o.k. Mari |

Hoping this weather stays. Its been at least in the 40's around here and
that is not bad. We got a little snow at my mom's yesterday night and it didn't snow I don't think at my house. Donna ![]() ![]() |

We went down to the high twenties at night and a couple days of near freezing during the daytime. It's too early for this kind of cold. It seems to have warmed up a tiny bit, but that thermometer in my sig is LYing right now. It says 43... our balcony thermometer says 32 as does the weather station down the street.
We also got a little snow yesterday, but it has mostly gone, now. I've been feeling too bleak even to go look at it much, and I'm physically unwell so going outside is even less attractive. =========== Donna I hope your "warm" spell holds out. It is much colder in your parts than where I am usually. |

Waves,
The rhythm of the weather needs to make more sense. I am asking the global picture to change for me but I do not see it as unreasonable for the weather to act like it is supposed to. M |

I personally would rather keep the weather were having in Indiana.
Than what its supposed to be. I am staying warm very easy right now. And can get out and go. Donna ![]() ![]() |
