I was awake at 4am very unusual for me laid there and got up at 6;30. boy am I tired. I don't know if I will make it to the gym am sore from lifting weights etc.
It is not even 8 pm and I am thinking about going to bed. I ate left overs turkey spaghetti and a pear. need to drink more water.... bizi yawn:ranting: |
I did not make it to the gym nor go to bed early . I was in the SMART recovery chat room for almost 4 hours straight.
sigh I am getting ready to go to bed now. I hope I sleep thru the night, jeff is gone for the night be back home tomorrow. He performed a half concert, he said he did ok....when He called me earlier. I am sore still after taking some advil. Have a head ache that feels like I need to go to the chiropractor and get a treatment. bizi 20 days AF |

Had salmon for lunch and soup and tabouli very good!
Just came home from texas road house, I had their road kill, lol! steak burger well done, smothered in onions and mushrooms and cheese. yum with a side of brocolli and a ceasar salad. ate a bunch of peanuts but avoided the carbs of the rolls, potatoes or other starchy food item. I am stuffed. Really would like to go to the gym and walk on their tred mill for an hour, walk off some of this meal. I just need to bite the bullet and go. I will feel so much better if I go. This is mardi gras weekend fat tuesday on tuesday...looks like rain...so many temptations. Think I am good though. feeling strong. Have a great weekend! bizi |
I went to the gym and walked 3.5 miles!!!! in an hour.
I feel good about this. about an hour and a half total time not spent on the computer. I need to do this on a regular basis! bizi |

Stayed in bed until 9 am. hubby surprized me with big heart balloon and flowers and 2 cards....I had a card hidden in my car unsigned and that was all, feeling like a schmuck!
Made myself a smoothie with 4 servings of veggies and fruits kale, blueberries and cranberry juice lite. yummy! I read last night we should aim for 11 servings of fruits and veggies a day. Had sevreal cups of coffee using stevia and half and half. We went to lunch early, had chicken and sausage gumbo, think thick brown broth. It is always good!.After lunch we took a drive and we just got back from lake martin rookery and swamp with cypress trees. We canoed for almost a couple of hours on the swamp and thru the trees was great fun and talked to the nature conservatory guy who answered some of our questions about the birds that we saw. Great white egrets, cormerands, anhinga, king fisher, heard an owl! saw some turtles but did not see any alligators. Oh well it was fun! It is beautiful here today 72 was the high. It was a bit cooler on the water but I wore a turtle neck under my shirt and was fine. The sun was warm. It was an easy canoe trip! jeff just left to go pick up the fixins for dinner tonight. Cilantro chicken. Have not had it in years. That was the dish that they prepared for our wedding reception meal. So it will be special. WE plan to go to our first parade tonight around 7;30 or so. Then at 10pm, there is a concert (atlanta rhythem section) at the cajun field outdoor arena that jeff wants to see, kind of late but we can do it! I have picked a few dead ferns out of the flower beds.....there are so many of them! the yard just screams I need attention! And I feel like a nap! bizi |

good breakfast/brunch this morning. 3 scrambled eggs with spinach topped with black bean salsa and a side of brocolli. delicious! We are going to a cook out this evening will bring salad. He is cooking his special hamburgers. I won't eat the bread. need to bring another veggie. I read the other day that we are supposed to eat 11 servings of fruits and veggies A DAY!!!! Can you imagine eating that much! on top of drinking 8 glasses of water. I will eat a pear this afternoon. and maybe bring some strawberries for the cook out. It is 63 degrees and 100% humidity so a damp chill. gloomey today. still enjoying the memory of our glorious day yesterday canoeing thru the swamp/cypress trees. bizi The other day i decided to have a smoothie. used a lot of kale, frozen blueberries and a cup of lite cranberry juice for an additional 4+ servings of veggies and fruits. I should drink smoothies again. bizi ____ |
