Kay,

I believe that things are going to settle down financially.
The costs are "start up" costs to get you back on the road and settled into
your new normal.

Thank you :group hug:

I didn't get any answers and that big payment worries me. My policy is due to renew in September and I have no idea what the payments will be then. I cringe at the thought. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I guess. I'm just happy I found a workable solution for the present. My husband was pleased.

He drank very little last week because he was on call, but he had several beers Saturday night. He hasn't drank since. That's very unusual for him. I told him I was happy and he was doing well. He didn't give me any feedback, so I'm unaware of any goals he may have set for himself, and I'm not going to pry. He was in a good mood yesterday. It was nice for a change. He said he's feeling better, and he seems less anxious. It's possible his withdrawals are over.

We're going through a heatwave. I shouldn't be spending any money, but I don't have any shorts that fit, and am going to have to go out and buy a pair. I'm sure Kohl's is having a sale. It's upsetting to realize that last year at this time I was shopping for size 4's, and this year I'm shopping for size 12's.

yes kolhs is having sales, they always have good sales that is really the only place I shop.
I just had a $10 off coupon and bought a new shower curtain and 2 new bath room towels. Have not don that in forever. The shower curtain was nasty!
Maybe I will have a better experience tomorrow when i take a shower.

My husband complains constantly about not feeling well and I've told him it's because of how much he drinks. I've also told him his anxiety is highest when he goes through withdrawals.

Last night he told me he wasn't drinking because he wanted to feel better, but he wasn't happy discussing it, and didn't want to make a big deal of it. He said he almost picked up beer yesterday, so I assume he plans on drinking on weekends.

I'm glad he's trying. It must be extremely hard for him. I'll support him if he lets me. We'll see what happens.

I managed to find a pair of shorts at kohl's. They were $27.50, marked down from $44. I almost didn't buy them because I wasn't in love with them, but I realized the problem was I'm really not in love with my body right now. I managed to resist a trip to the mall and didn't buy anything other than what I set out to. I was a good girl

I'm grocery shopping solo today. It's better for me to do it in the morning when it's cool rather than waiting until my husband gets home when it's hot as a SOB. He was all too willing to agree… lol… that desire to be helpful disappeared pretty quickly.

I am hoping to find motivation to find my summer clothes soon.

I am also hoping they are to big on me. I've been working so hard
to lose weight. I know from last summer late in year I've lost
almost 10 lbs. But can't seem to get past that 204 or so weight.

I really want to step on one day and be at 199. I will make it
but its just not happening yet.

You should be so proud of yourself for losing that 10 pounds and continuing to work out Donna!!! Lots of people plateau, and sometimes they hire a trainer for a month or see a nutritionist to discover some little secret of how to get over the hump. I really admire your persistence

I'm really unhappy with the weight I'm at, but I shouldn't ***** because I haven't been doing anything about it. I bet if I got on the exercise bike consistently I could shed a few pounds since I'm bottom heavy. It hurts like hell though because it's not a natural movement for my legs anymore, and I have to lay down and rest for twice as long as the time I spend doing, but I'll probably get used to it if I stick with it. I'm going to start doing it in the morning before I get distracted online.

Grocery shopping went well. Because I went early, the store was quiet despite the fact that it's Memorial Day weekend. I got home before it hit 85 degrees…
I decided to take all the bags in because it was going to be over 90. I took several trips to dump them in front of our recessed patio and brought them in through the slider. I shouldn't be doing things like that, but my husband didn't protest. I'm already a fall risk. I should leave all the heavy items and non-preishables in the trunk for him to bring in. I set a precedent, so we're back to where we were, and I'm very sore today. Next time I will leave the bags for him to handle so he doesn't start to expect me to do that all the time.

He bought a 30-pack yesterday and drank 17 beers. He barely made it through diner and passed out before 7:30pm. He woke up around 7 this morning and must be feeling okay because he's in a good mood.
